In the comics, The Venom Symbiote oozed out it's spawn and left it behind where Kletus was at, unlike the Venom Symbiote, the spawn merged to Kletus to his open wound so it gave him the ability to reattach himself if he was to be cut up to pieces, shoot projectiles and infect people with his blood-soaked tendrils.
I recently saw the third movie in the theater. Basically, without any spoilers, I had the same reaction as I had for Venom 2: Venom and Eddie are still awesome characters, the plot and story writing was a hot mess. I recommend it just to see our favorite symbiote one more time.
I have a theory as to why venom was so terrified when he first saw carnage maybe on his planet different colored symbiotes are for different factions like riot was a dark grey so maybe he was a leader and carnage was red so maybe that is for hunters or savages of their home world.
I don't think the rendering is the issue. Venom's appearance is smooth and shiny, Carnage is more matte and fleshy. It's a design choice, trying to be more gory with the villain, but it definitely doesn't have the same definition.
Hey Clariss! Love your reactions! Venom and Eddie are one of my favorite marvel characters! Even if the movies aren’t perfect, I love the trilogy for what it is. I also recommend watching venom the last dance, it’s a pretty fun watch, and it’s the last time we’ll see this Eddie and venom pair! The ending is a bit emotional too! Also if you still do animated shows, I recommend link click! It’s a great Chinese animated show, with twists and turns and emotional impacts. It’s very underrated! ❤😊

General consensus is that the first movie is the best one, but to me Venom 1 felt the same way that Morbius and Kraven feel, except it actually has good underlying themes unlike those movies. Meanwhile, Venom 2 felt like it knew what it was. They hammed it up and just let you have a good time. Definitely a popcorn flick, but that's not always a bad thing
Amen about Anne! Can't stand her. But I loved this film. It was fun. I do think it could've been better if they gave Woody & Carnage more screentime & showed more action.

The movie would have done way better if it was R rated. In the comics Carnage is a brutal, violent, disturbing character. Heck, movie probably could be hard R really. Instead they went pg-13. I almost like this more then the first movie, if R, I'd love it for sure more. As for the next movie, its worse.

Venom deserved better movies, I loved the character far more than the plot
Carnage doesn't look as visually good as Venom at first because that was his birth scene. He looked better as he matured through the film
