    Episode 2
I snowshoe in to the fort and pull a sled full of gear.
I want to change the fort completely, take down the white tarp and set up a log structure, I have to dig out more snow, tear down the bed and rebuild.
This time I camp out at the fort, winter camping in luxury.
I cook up a steak in the reflector oven, drink chaga tea, and enjoy my progress on the fort.

Good to know you're enjoying coffee now. I remember a video where a subscriber sent you a gourmet coffee roaster and you mentioned how you not a big coffee drinker. Brewing coffee in a French press is probably one of the best ways to make coffee and it was nice seeing your wife participating in your videos "modeling" the coffee making demo. Knowing that scout won't being your videos anymore is sad to my kids and I, I wish you the best of luck and glad to see you back so soon.

I’m .... I’m so unbelievably sorry for you & your family’s loss. Scout was such a blessing and I feel honored to have found your channel. Because I’ve learned, I’ve laughed, I’ve cried & I’ve been proud. I don’t comment a lot and I’m sorry for that. But I’m sending you so much fucking love. I lost my best friend 2 months ago & after 14 years with her, I’m still hysterical. But I’m also really grateful for getting to be her person. Scout was really lucky to have you as his best friend.

Ulfric IronBorn - Calm, relaxing and intellectual videos... I have to agree 100% with that. Joe’s videos are relaxing but never boring. I also enjoy that most of his videos have no music. When you are out in a forest, it is rare to come across a live band. Lol. Who knows... maybe Joe will come across Aerosmith rehearsing in isolation outdoors. Lol. Still, even half-backed, your shelter looks beautiful and I hope you get lots of seasons out of it, in whatever ways you end up tweaking it. Joe I’ve been hooked on your Channel since the first time I’ve seen it, it’s stricken me as modern day bear grylls man vs wild. You’re very intelligent, hard working and what i love most is humble, a successful UA-camr and you are a down to earth man, I’ve never met you and i feel like your friend man, keep it up and faith and blessings to you and your family!

It hurts so much with Scout!! I subbed because I wanted to see the men with the dog, because you were different from all the other bushcrafter😭 And now, see him go... It hurts, it really hurts..!!!😭

I just love you & your videos! I have decided that in my next life, I want to bushcraft like you do!!! It’s kinda late for me in this life but I really want to!!! I love how your little boy Joe comes out in the funniest ways but yet how you really love all you do. You have a great personality & a lot of American in you with your sayings & gestures!!! I started watching a certain other ‘bushcraft’ guy & after I found your videos, that guy who??!!!! It broke my heart about Scout but with all the love you gave him, he was truly a blessed dog. I live in the USA & will never get to meet you but it would be an honor if you ever came to Arkansas, you can teach me for my next life!!!! Can’t wait to see more & more of your videos!!❤️

hey Joe, I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate the knowledge and skills you possess and share with us. I have learned great amounts from you and it's clear you are an expert. I say this because I've recently noted alot "survival expert" youtubers who are clearly bullshitters. and you stand in clear contrast to them. long story short, thanks for all the real info you're taught me and showed me over the years. been a sub for a long long time :)

Joe, the beauty of your videos is that I don\t feel like I am observing somebody doing some over dramatised action and surviving in the forest. Your videos make feel that I am there with you and no TV show or any other YT video has not made me feel like that! keep it up man, you are boosting a great deal of motivation!!!

Hey Joe, I just discovered your channel 2 days ago. I’ve watched many of your videos in this short time, some new some old. It’s very good stuff. That’s the way to live life. I live I’m Minnesota and all your stuff makes me feel at home. I got some issues I need to get straightened out but will be doing things like this some day. Keep it up brother.

Man, I just think of all the fun Scout would have had with all those sticks. And all times you would have yelled for him to get out of the way. Or him standing in front of the camera just to be closer to his best friend. He will be missed, by over 1 million people. Think about it
