The fact that you understand the mistake and made it right.
So much respect for that. A lot of people would care less about that and wouldn't even fix the problem.
I try to be honest & real on this channel
Thanks for watching
We also have three sons who are grown now. They played travel baseball so I know what you mean about staying busy. There were times when we were out of state on a Sunday evening playing the championship game at 10 pm due to delays. Then drove and got home at 2 am. Jumped in bed for a few hours sleep and then on to work! We had lots of fun and won a lot of games! Good luck to your sons and their teams!
Yep lots of fun times!! We go above and beyond for our kids!!
Appreciate you watching
Your the 🐐, josh! Full rotation…keeping ya young, brotha!

Thank you. I appreciate you watching
Sorry but that dog isn’t Anatolian , it’s Armenian wolf killer dog calles ( Gumper ) & thanks for nice video’s 🧠🙏👌💯
Wooohooo new video
Yes sir
First time when breeding the three we had to begin our herd I had to take them to the buck for a while. He was in far far back of property with 8 ft enclosed fencing cuz the county had laws to prevent jumping fences and bucks running wild. He came around the corner and the odor nearly gagged me and he Megawatts size and muscled up. My does looked like dwarfs and of course in goat language begged me to take them home 😂😂🤣. Being a new goat owner I had no idea how bad the girls smelled when time to pick them up and with a mask on I really had to bathe them good for days. I did learn fast what to look for and how to improve my small herd and made a few mistakes. You and your uncle have put a lot of work into the breeds and all your goats show it too. I do miss being on my farm and learning everything it took to improve their health and for us......dairy production. Having show and jumper horses too accidents can end things real fast when ya turn up paralyzed. So really love watching you work so hard and sharing your days and knowledge. Not sure how much land you and family share but it’s amazing and well cared for too. Yep I miss all of the work so hope you not mind if I tag along and remember what I’m missing cuz it really was a good life. I’ll let you work and I’ll support your growth so that you can educate all the people how and why you do what ya do......improving the breed and gazing out over all the land knowing that it IS a good life. Those boys of yours will keep you busy as they grow and learn from you their future on the land if they wish to continue. Super video and a BIG thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Your welcome
Thanks for watching
Great video. Good looking herd and sires. We had some issues last year as well. Live and learn. 👍🏼🐐🤠
Thank you
Confused you sell papered goats with fair cows you could only have papers if animal was purebred Now that is pre DNA testing (that was fascinating to hear about that)
Interesting channel ❤
Good video. Can't wait to see what the crosses bring
Thanks. Me too
Thanks for the info on the bucks! Definitely don't need them jumping the fence! Lol
Lol true. He gave us a few headaches.
Thanks for watching
Nice job I am a fairly new to raising goats also, I have a herd of registered large Myotonic (fainting) goats and I am learning the buck is where to spend the money on
Enjoy your videos good luck

Thanks for watching
Great video Josh thanks for sharing

👍
I would like see a video explaining the difference between pure breed, registered and New Zealand’s. What the differences are, pros and cons. Thanks for the video.
Ok I will have to do that. I have had a lot of questions about it.
Thanks for watching
@@BoisDArcKikos me too cuz i dont understand if they are kikos then how are the new Zealands or pure breds?
I will add it to a video. They are all Kikos just a different classifications of Kikos
@@BoisDArcKikos sweet we appreciate it! I think you should give away some swag on fb. Hat or shirt maybe!
I’m going to do a giveaway soon.

BUD THE GOAT!
lol yea he thinks he’s one.
@@BoisDArcKikos i love him! LOL. how long til the big day?
Do you have any videos that explain what the difference is between "Purebred", "New Zealand", "Commercial", etc?
Yes I do. ua-cam.com/video/1KGPzCrINd4/v-deo.html
Nice goats but I don't see to much meat on them ,They have big frame sure but they look more bone then meat to me.
Can you tell me when you butcher one what is the ratio from life weigh to a hanging meat minus the bones.
I did a video on having some butchered and a 60 pound buckling made 29 ponds of meat, pretty good I thought. The camera dont do them any justice. I know boer goats are the ones that get alot of atttention when it comes to meat goats but from my experience i had no luck with them. Thanks for watching
Josh running goats what is the problem with running the sire the whole time instead of timely breeding
Controlled breeding equals more kids of the same.
Ok great well I hope to work with you Joe and your friends at Deep Creek Kiko.
I would love to get an offspring (buckling) off of Megawatt.
I can put you on our list for our next kidding. We will have some good ones from megawatt. Message me on my FB page & I can get your information.
What kind of goat is the purebred???
Purebreds are a kiko goat that’s been in a breed up program to 98% purebred. Takes about 5yrs to do it.
Thanks for watching
What’s the difference w
Between new Zeldanda, 100% kiko, pure bred kiko???? I’m so confused here please break it down for me
How much kiko is it and what’s the difference ???
100% is from the original gentics that was imported into the US in the 90’s
Purebred is from a breed up to 94%
@@BoisDArcKikos so what’s New Zealand ?
@AnimeDreamingEcchi the original goats that was imported into the US in the 90’s
You have New Zealand , Purebred & then percentage.
And the only way to tell the difference is by testing the blood? Right, cause I’m over here trying to look and see what’s so different and all I can see with my eyes is color! Also thanks for replying!
@AnimeDreamingEcchi yes DNA testing and lineage will determine
I keep hearing you say commercial goat and purebred what does that mean if you could answer this I would appreciate it thank you
Our commercial are non registered Kikos. They don’t have papers on them.
Purebreds are registered but not 100% New Zealand Kikos. Hope this helps.
Thanks for watching
@@BoisDArcKikos it does help a lot thank you very much you are probably the only one of the channels that I watch the answer any questions and I really appreciate it thank you so much you have great videos
Thank you I appreciate the kind comments I try to answer all questions & respond to every comment
do your females ever get as ig as them males? what about length of legs?
Got a couple that are.
@@BoisDArcKikos with the winter conditions where i am currently at, they would need those long leggs to get through the snow! i am thinking i might have to relocate if i want to raise goats and sheep
What's a commercial???
No registration. No papers
Why wouldn't you want pure bred?
I don’t want a purebred buck because he got in and bred some of my New Zealand nannies & those kids can only be registered as purebred.
Why the cow bell on the goat?
She’s the lead goat. I can always tell where the goats are. If she was to bring trouble I would most definitely hear it.
Thanks for watching
