I love this! When you teach this to your students, do you teach then the bass first or the other way around? I've been trying to learn it measure by measure and it might not be easier this way. Thanks!
I remember my teacher stating to start with the Treble Clef then base. Treble is usually easier, but in this case it's harder. Music has a pattern in this case the base clef will be easiest
First the bass line or the upper staff?! I think there is no one way. You have to choose your way for every bar or every passage. In this case it MIGHT be more useful when you learn both hands together. So the musical image of both hands is correctly stored in your brain. But as always: As SLOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!as possible and smart.
