Chloe's shock when Lucifer said "detective wait, I'll come with you", was brilliant. She thought she screwed up beyond repair and Lucifer gave her an Olive branch, a chance to fix things. Unlike other shows, the female character in this show did not make the main mistakes that caused the angst, in this show, Chloe did most things right, but boy did she pay for the one mistake she truly made. Trying to send him back to hell would follow her until she died because they choice caused a domino affect that would separate them until her death
I'm not following your logic here. How did her betrayal lead to Rory's birth and her suggestion that Lucifer _"abandon"_ them? The main result of Chloe's attempted betrayal was to bring Eve into Lucifer's life (to fill a certain *_"Chloe-shaped_*_ void"!)_
Another potential mistake Chloe made was her rejection of Maze in Season 4. Why did she seek so hard to make up with Lucifer and not with Maze? After several seasons of living with Maze in her apartment, Chloe didn't need to treat Maze as a threat but not the devil himself. And Trixie ... Dan proved more of a threat to her in Season 4 than either Lucifer or Maze. Maze risked her life battling her siblings to save Charlie, and fought on the same side as Chloe!
Lucifer obviously loved Chloe the entire time, even if he didn't realize it. Who else could have betrayed Lucifer like that and lived to tell about it? (Amenadiel is the only one I can think of.) He risked his life in the _"Axe Scene"_ and Chloe repaid him by potentially sacrificing herself to save him when our villain tried to detonate that bomb at Lux (S4E5).
I keep thinking about the DeckerStar confrontation in his penthouse near the end of S04E03. She was admittedly *TERRIFIED* of him, yet she met with him ... alone ... in a secluded location in hopes of patching things up between them. She could have *CALLED* him with the news, or brought a uniformed officer, but she risked her life to meet him. So many _"if onlys"_ -- if she had disposed of the _"vile vial"_ ... If she had confessed to Lucifer after turning Kinley down, *ESPECIALLY* when Lucifer explicitly *ASKED* if she had told anyone ... If she hadn't given up so quickly after he told her _"Then I have my answer!"_ Would it have worked? We know that something _"won't work"_ if it's not *TRIED!* Or perhaps they *BOTH* had a bit too much *PRIDE* to reconcile then and there. I quite imagine that that scene ended with two broken hearts and the consumption of much alcohol!
@ChaplainDaveSparks of sure hadn't the timeline of them getting together changes, who knows of Rori ever would have been born
@@ryanabate1981 Well, they *DID* get back together *AND* Rory was born. If they didn't get back together, then Rory would not only have been *NON-EXISTENT* but also *IRRELEVANT.* But ... Rory wasn't planned (at least not here on earth).
Now if you go back to the Season 2 theme of Chloe being _"miraculous",_ then perhaps Rory inspiring Lucifer to _"empty hell"_ was the main reason for God's apparent plan for Chloe existing, and Lucifer meeting Chloe! In turn, that was the reason for Lucifer meeting Delilah and Jimmy Barnes having her killed so that Chloe could be assigned to her murder case and she then encountering Lucifer. Then it all circles back in Season 6 with Lucifer and Chloe re-encountering him in hell!
So Rory travels back in time, _"inspired"_ by Chloe's impending death. So was Chloe's lifespan affected somehow by her conspiring with Kinley? Who knows? But Rory arrives back in time not too long before she was conceived. I think a lot about spiritual things, but much of this is ... *_"above my pay grade"_* as Maze said ...
Lucifer and Chloe belong together, their Love grows stronger every time, they see, touch and feel unconditionally, Most Beautiful Love Story ever told, THANKS to everyone who helped to make this story happen. Most AMAZING actors I DO hope that this Love story keeps going

I must say that one _”scene”_ here was rather creative. The one where Chloe is laying on the floor and an injured Lucifer is crawling toward here. Anyone who hadn’t watched the show wouldn’t realize that two separate scenes from two separate seasons were being stitched together!
And that one from season 2 where, after you watch it enough times, realize just how much Chloe was in full fledged *PANIC* - where she asked total strangers _”Where is he? Where’s Lucifer?”_

Have been binge watching the series of 'Lucifer' and I absolutely love it as it is one of the best things I have seen. It has all the attributes to make a good series, comedy, love, relationships etc and great actors. Love this song as it goes so well with the clips you have chosen.
