I need to apologize. I hope you see this comment. I will try to keep it brief, but essentially, I was a real jerk to you quite some time ago...I was just getting into wearing my natural hair and I left you a pretty shitty comment about your diffusing technique. Fast forward to a year later, and I know now there are so many ways to get good results. Moreover, you have been one of my top go-to influencers that I feel I can really trust and learn from. I see how hard you work on putting out quality, educational content and I REALLY need to thank you and again, I am so sorry for being such an ass to you before. It must be tough to open yourself up to the whole world and have people leave nasty comments like I did after you worked so hard and were just trying to help. I feel really bad about it and since I watch you pretty much every day I figured I should let you know I respect and appreciate what you do and I am sorry. Keep up the amazing work!

I love Giovanni products! They are my favorite. I have thin, fine hair like you and I use 4 pumps of the foam for my whole head. I use it with that leave in as a one and done. It dries super fast too, so even though I put my products in soaking wet, this still dries quickly. I use water with the gel and only apply it after my hair is about 50% dry. I use two pea sized amounts for my whole head and glaze and praying hands over my hair.

I’ve used the Giovanni gel - never on dry hair, though. Usually my hair is very wet when I use it, and it works very well. In fact, I have lately been taking a blob (tablespoonful?) of gel, putting it in a small squeeze-type travel bottle, adding some hot water (maybe an ounce?), and shaking it up before I put it in my hands and smooth it over my hair, and it works really well to get even distribution.
Thanks for the tip about always touching wet hair with wet hands, and dry hair with dry hands - that is new to me.
    Your hair looks great!

I've been wanting to try this brand myself! I saw someone else on UA-cam who always uses that gel and she said she has to add water also. I probably own every single item from Giovanni pure organic technology (white/transparent line) apart from Smooth as silk shampoo which contains silicone which is a shame as wanted to try it. My favourite from Giovanni is definitely LA gel, I dilute it with water on the wet hair just like you demotivated 👍my nr 2 is smooth as silk conditioner and tea tree shampoo. I also like vitapro spay leave in conditioner and reconstructor deep conditioner. Just ordered 50/50 shampoo and conditioner and golden wheat shampoo. Can't wait to try it.

(Have you ever paid attention to how your stylist applies them to you?) Generally with this type of gel (the way you like to apply your product) you could dilute it with the leave in conditioner or the styling foam and mix them in your hands.

So far I've only tried the 50:50 conditioner and I love it so much that I decided to read up on all their other products. It has insane amounts of slip (sometimes you need to add a bit more water to your hair before it reaches it's full potential) and is one of the only conditioners I've used where my rinsed out hair feels (almost) exactly as soft as my hair when the conditioner is still in it.

I'm using Giovanni right now (except for the foam bc I haven't tried it yet) , and I like them alot. With the gel it's very thick and sticky by itself so when I used it alone without any water I would get very strong hold, but my hair would get very matted and tangled with knots. So now what I do is put leave in and put the gel in with water and it got a little better As far as being matted with tangles, knots, and my results came out nice. Great video and I love your channel. 👍☺️

I like to do a dry refresh. I just put a little Direct Leave-In on my finger tips and run it through any frizz. Then I do the same w/ the LA Styling gel. Works great!

Could you review products of Hairitage by Mindy???

I've featured their products over on Instagram quite a bit (check my story highlights, there's one labeled for Hairitage), and a few times in UA-cam videos. So far I've liked their stuff but not so much so for them to replace favorites.

The tea tree line damaged my hair and took it out. Giovanni is not for my hair.

I think it looks fantastic, but it seems like the products are too much work.

The Frizz Be Gone leaves an oily film on your hands.

Is it your hair color or is your hair getting thicker? 😍

I haven't colored my hair 😊 I think because I don't have much of a cast my curls are more fluffy/plump so it looks thicker 🙌🏼

I tried Giovanni and is garbage I just when by all of the video I saw on UA-cam and I was super disappointed i don't know if you guys are getting paid to say of the wonderful things you say about it but to me this product are total garbage

No I'm not being paid. Even I was getting paid, I would still be sharing my honest thoughts.
This is a first impression review, so I used them for the first time in the video and explained that while sharing my initial thoughts and how I liked my results. After testing the gel longer I don't think it's right for me because my results didn't last as long as other gels I use. However, I enjoyed the rest of the products and still use them within my rotation. The gel is the only product that I don't use anymore.
