Yes, I’ve ordered the basic model, without the kit. I paid £22 for the knife and sheath. I’m going to use 550 paracord with a wink leak. I’ve always carried a fero rod on my key ring. I found the price double with the kit !
It's nearly two years ago now when I bought mine would of been eBay or Amazon and the Australian dollar has been falling since then. The neck carry kit is harder to find on sale and the loop on top is overly expensive if bought separately regards Mike

It’s pricey for what it is, but it’s a damn fine simple and effective kit!
its a shame they charge so much for the retention strap when sold separately or it would be a easy diy

Why using this kind of loop ?
its a weak link if you get the cord caught its breaking point is 400 pounds so it could kill you by hanging
