Great question! It’s to late to winter sow your lavender seeds, but you can simulate a cold process by placing your seeds on a moist paper towel, placing the paper towel in a Ziploc bag and refrigerating them for up to 30 days. If the seeds germinate you can plant the seeds in potty mix either indoors or outdoors, but if you choose to do outdoors remember the wildlife is outdoors and may try to eat your seeds so you should cover/protected them until they develop their true leaves.
You can also cut off the bottom of a milk jug and use those if you don't want to buy the plastic covers
You can purchase a pack of 15 clear shower caps from Walmart $.98; it works too.
Is it too late to try now
