Of the seemingly countless landscape photography blogs I watch, I must say I do find yours amongst the most inspiring and relevant to me .Carry on the good work, always lovely images.
Thank you very much Paul, thats honestly one of the nicest things iv had as a compliment! So thank you! Im glad you enjoy them, as I enjoy making them!
Welcome back Ben, and what a welcome back you did. Nice to see you talk about the nd grade filters also and yes I have a few but expensive as you say. I’m gonna have to get to lyme Regis but my bones are old and the early mornings are getting to early lol. Glad to see you feeling* better and I know doubt the drone will motivate you even more
Nice work Ben. Those morning skies were great....best time of day IMHO. Glad you're feeling better....been a bit ill myself recently and lost my motiviation... I'm not good at being ill. In terms of filters, I still use them and over the many years that since I bought my first Lee Filter, I built and big collection. However, given the dynamic range of my camera I don't use grads as much. It's really the polariser and the NDs that get used the most. :-)
Polariser is next on my list, but again... so much money for what it is.. Yeah of course i guess the dynamic range on your camera is awesome, but then again sonys dynamic range is awesome, and I do find I can pull out detail in post i didn't even think I captured, just I really like it to be as perfect in camera as possible! Less work then! aha!
Nice Ben 😀 I know what you saying about the price of filters 😂 I only have a Lee 0.6 0.9 and the big stopper but don't use the 0.6..yes they do a job but for a bit of resin/plastic lol.. very expensive..the only thing I'm missing is the circular polarising filter but that's neatly £200 😂😂😂😂😂
I also have the big and little stopper but same il missing the polariser. It’s so much money!! But it is something I need to get one day... I just bought a drone though so low on funds! Ahaha
Pete Moseley I wish I could! They won’t do it now I’m 25, u less I’m getting it like 10 times a year! Aha! Thank you for watching and I’m glad you liked the Vlog :)
Pete Moseley thanks Pete, hopefully soon il stop getting it! Just got back home from corneal, great photography, and I also bought a drone! So keep an eye out for the next Vlog! :)
Hey mate. Don't waste your hard earned money on buying graduated nd filters. Have you heard of using luminosity masking before? They are so much more effective, versatile and cheaper than throwing extra glass over your lenses.
