While I served I went to the South Korean side of the Demilitarized Zone and its so close that you can see the other side, but you're not allowed to talk to North military if they are present or it'll be considered an act of war
As ex-military I went to Zone Rouge for training. It is eerie, everyone could feel that aura of death and misery. It looked like you were on the moon, nothing grows there.

I live really close to mount weather. I’ve been driving through there before. It’s definitely eerie, there’s also people hiding out in the woods secretly guarding throughout the day/night

@@velihenny1361 yes! I’ve never seen anyone though but it’s government property and in the woods, but the public is able to access some roads so it’s just for extra security. It’s really weird though like you can truly feel the eeriness in the air. There’s some cool farmers markets out that way and mount weather has some really nice scenic roads so that’s why I went out that way

I want to offer a correction. It is not illegal to visit the DMZ. As someone who was stationed in South Korea, I can attest to the fact that they regularly had trips there. I attended with a civilian guest back in 2005.

My dad used to work on the base at the high school on Fort Knox. I can still remember driving by it and it all being fenced up. He even said at one point there used to be an active sniper if anyone would trespass.
Well that was back in the day.. it's not like that now

I’ve been to the DMZ before when I was stationed in Korea. It was told to us that the guy standing over to the left side of that building in the north side. They said there is a 50cal behind him and if someone crosses over, all that guy does is slides to the side and the guy behind him opens fire.

Update: About Varosha,Cyprus.
Yes, it was occupied and not only this city but actually half of Cyprus including half of the capital of Nicosia. You still could visit other occupied areas and they even provide tours.
As standing from this year 2022 first time after being occupied that it is allowed to visit Varosha and even walk around , of remaining city and even have a swim in the lovely bay. Now there is a lot of tours provided to visit the occupied area and it’s fully safe.
Imagine having the power of invisibility and being able to visit all of these places!!!

I did a 30 mile ruck march near the Z while stationed in A Korea. We were literally walking near landmine zones and any of us could've fallen and got blown up at any moment in those 11 hours.

As a Virginian, I can yell you that there are multiple govt. bunkers here. Some have runways that go into the mountains. Pretty awesome and amazing really.

Pine gap also has UFOs and I lived about 20 to 40 kilometres from there and witnessed it nightly as around 10 to 50 would travel back and forth throughout the night until sun rises and it's amazing to kick back on the trampoline and watch the show for fun while out bush bored!

I've actually been by fort Knox as a kid my family lived near it and we would drive by it every day. I always wondered about it. We drove by it never close to it. That highway behind it is the one we went on.

It’s funny seeing Mt Weather on here cause I live near by and have driven on that road many times with the school bus. Apparently we can’t turn around there anymore so they made a bigger entry way to avoid us having to go in. A water tank is mostly what you see and a whole lot of hidden security. When I did my school bus driving there back in like 2013, there was no turn around on that road and if we kept driving we’ll end up in Clark County and it’s up in a mountain so we’d have to turn around in Mt Weather and a soldier with a weapon had to get on while we turned around and the kids were a bit scared cause dude was no joke, had to let him off after turn around. There are cameras all over. We live near so helicopters fly around here every single day. FEMA now has a headquarters there… There was an airplane accident there where 14 people died in 85… locals helped find people parts. There is a plaque there when you drive into this road. Maybe I said too much and now I’ll have feds up in my house now😳

I am Czech, darling and yes you can´t walk on Pravčická brána, but you can walk underneath and around, there is a nice little pubb standing right next to it with tables in and out and view point you have to go under the arch to reach it. You would need about 10 hours to describe every interesting thing in Czech and you would barely touch the basic. Pilsner underground with it´s necropolis and Prague underground tunnels and so much more. You don´t even know, we are in the middle of Europe one of the eldest cultures of all in three layers. It´s not unusual to see hundreds and hundreds of years old buildings and sites from celtic times. There are castles basically on everyone´s back garden.

I've been to Fort Knox Kentucky and it is very much heavily guarded they want a lot of documents in order for you to even pass through my husband was in the Army and basic training.
I had heard of mount weather thanks to the show the 100. The image here seem to be some of the same ones used in that show.
