What a time it was, when the good guys won! Morals was Godly. Moms and dads stayed together. Everyone worked for a living. Criminals thought twice about committing a crime because of the chain gang! Now they are molly coddled. Glad I got to live a little bit of that gentler time.
Sad to see history lost for one reason or another.
I used to drive by the museum in the 80's, never stopped in always saying someday, much regrets.

This is what is known as a generational museum. In other words it was good idea as long as the generation that grew up knowing Roy Rogers is alive to enjoy his memory such as myself. Now in 2023 theses people of the last 30 years don't even know RR.
Everyone who knew who Roy was died without telling their kids about him. Plus these people who are alive today don't believe in the lifestyle that he displayed . You know. truth, honesty, integrity , loyalty, patience , justice , etc . All the virtues that have disappeared in today' s society .

I think Roy and Dale Rogers are outdated. This new generation of youngsters have never really probably heard of Roy Rogers. Good Cowboys never last the test of time. The name slowly Fades away. But if he would have been a killer and a Outlaw, his memory will live on forever
The sad truth is that Rogers' fan base aged and passed on. Younger people only knew of Roy Rogers hamburgers! A sad ending!
The Rodgers family wanted money not Roy.

I really wasn't a Roy Roger's fan , I was more of Lone Ranger or Daniel Boone fan..
I always say the kids saw the Money money money they could make off their dad, and in the end was the stuff in the museum was dollars signs they the greedy little SOB could make and NOT have to work for to earn it through hard work
