That adjustable belt has been a gift from heaven. I had JUST finished decluttering my wardrobe, finally doing what everyone tells you to do: Let go of the too-small clothes you haven't worn in years. Then I got cancer and lost 30 pounds in just a few weeks. That was weight I could afford to lose, so I'm not complaining. But dang, nothing fits anymore. I live in shorts in summer and they all fall off my hips, literally. That little belt saves the day over and over. The adjustable feature is brilliant. Thanks for the recommendation.

That’s so scary about that area of Dallas! I’ve heard lots of big cities are turning out like that. I wonder if LTK would consider moving to a safer location in the future. Loved this video, so fun. You’re influencing me to buy that first black dress!
I doubt they’d ever move it out of Dallas (that’s where they’re headquartered) but even if they just went ½ a mile north to Uptown it would be fine. Once you go a few blocks north of downtown, it’s an entirely different experience.
@@MsGoldgirlhopefully some of you provided that feedback because it sounded like this is an event where quite a few women are traveling alone! Okay was just adding the blue button down from your shopping day to my cart lol. I wonder how much more I’ll buy watching this?!

Sad to say, until it gets the business owners in the pocketbook (and the city in the tax revenue) this won't change. I use so many skin care products that you recommended as well. The list goes on. You do what you do well !

I just did a little detective work and found out that the Thompson Hotel by Hyatt used to be an iconic building that also houses the Dallas Petroleum Club. My niece and her husband had the wedding reception there and it was fabulous.
In those days, it was so safe in downtown Dallas. You could walk from great restaurants and hotels to the Neiman Marcus flagship store any time with no problem. So sad. Our wonderful big cities are in such decline and it makes me really sad.
It’s everywhere! I used to walk with my babies in strollers around the Square in San Francisco…by myself! Right where people are now getting shot and I’d need to step over poop everywhere I went…So sad.

Sounds like you had a wonderful time!!! Brings back memories from my manufacturer sales rep career of going to big conventions. Tiring but such fun.
Issues with opioids, addiction and homelessness is global. I live in downtown Calgary Alberta and deal with the issues you described on a daily basis. On a recent European trip I heard similar stories from Australia, England, Ireland and all over Europe. This is a humanitarian crisis. It’s not just one issue it’s many, and can’t be solved easily. It’s not one politician or political group because it’s happening everywhere.
I will agree that that is some of it, maybe even a large portion of it. But that's not all I saw represented on the streets. And globally, it seems like the people in power are all on the same page, so it could still be easily related back to a similar political ideology.
@@MsGoldgirl Hi Lorraine, Edmontontian here. Glad to hear that your water restrictions were finally lifted. Canada has become a dangerous place too and yes, the world is having a humanitarian crisis and as you say, this is happening globally. I see these issues in my city too.

Hi Marnie, I didn't know Dallas was so bad. Here in CA San Francisco is like that. If you drive there you can't leave anything in your car because the window will be broken. I don't ever go there now. I enjoyed your video. It looks like you and everyone had fun. You wore many pretty outfits. Your hair looks pretty. Thanks about the Dallas update. I went to a conference in downtown Dallas for years until they moved it to DFW airport. I haven’t been downtown in years but still enjoy Northpark and Highland Park Village. Sounds like a great conference.

Downtown Denver is the same. It’s a disgrace. When I moved to Denver as a young single girl in 2001, I was so afraid to go downtown to the famous cash register building to get my nursing license. I was so pleasantly surprised that it was clean and safe. It was clean and safe throughout my kids entire childhood. I’d allow them to take the light rail downtown to go to the 16th street mall, baseball games, and the amusement park. Since our new woke governor took over it has deteriorated into filth , homelessness, and is just unsafe. I don’t go down there anymore. Sad.
I've heard that about Denver, and it's an issue across the US these days. So sad.

Oh Marnie! First of all I loved this video! But I am so sad you had a bad experience in downtown Dallas! I used to work down there and it was not like that back then. I hope the conference festivities overshadowed the location issues. Thanks for all you do...I never miss any of your videos! Much ❤️
Michael felt the same way! In fact, the Thompson Hotel is housed in the same building that used to be full of law offices! He used to there to visit his outside counsel and he was just appalled at how bad it's gotten.
