I find that the tax-benefit ratio in Poland seems to be much better in comparison to how we get taxed here and it’s quite sad. Unfortunately many Americans are closed off to the idea that other places are better managed than how we have it. Now I’m not saying that the quality of life is much better in Poland. It’s subjective to what you’re looking to get out of the country. I also agree with you now about the Ukraine situation and although it’s extremely sad what’s happened, at some point they will have to come to terms with some kind of end of hostilities because we are simply robbing Piotr to pay Paweł at this point. There isn’t a single benefit for us in that scenario.
This time I will write in English, although I have the impression that your Polish is quite good :) I would be interested in material in which you would talk about what you like about our country. You've already talked about it a bit, but now maybe something synthetic, in a few or a dozen points. And on the other hand - what do you, as a native American, dislike, what do you have problems with? It's true that I have the impression that you are already more Polish :) and if we met at a barbecue, we would have a great conversation and joke, but you must see some disadvantages in Poland. As you probably already know, complaining is our national sport. Join this competition :)
@@anamericaninpoland but goverment is also paying 800zł per kid even if you have just one kid (different program, 500+ upgrated to 800+ since jan 2024)
@danielmarkiewicz8489 it's amazing the differences between the two countries. I wanted to cover more of the details like maternity leave in Poland and school taxes in the USA but the first time I recorded the video it was over 30 min so I had to cut a lot out. I think I'll do separate videos on some of the stuff as their own topics. Family benefits in Poland are very generous and open to everyone this is completely opposite from the USA.
I wouldn't complain if they were actually going towards the war. A recent expose article estimated that less than 60% of foreign aid to Ukraine is going to where it's supposed to. A lot of oligarchs are mysteriously becoming even more wealthy on the back of this conflict.
45% that is out of control I'm going homeless and live in a state with no income tax.
And yet when you add up all of the hidden taxes you pay every day you're still paying almost 45 cents on every dollar in taxes.
Thank You. Bardzo ciekawe Twoje spostrzeżenia.
Dziękuję bardzo

Wow without beard :)

Z brodą wyglądałeś bardziej rock'a'rollowo :)
Już za tym tęsknię. Miałem drobny wypadek z maszynką do brody.😂😂😂
You should not complain about taxes spent on Ukraine beeing in Poland.

Right. You have to control when you are giving. Thank you for showing us that our country is not as bad as we see it :)
@tomasztomasz4229 I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Poland is a pretty great place for sure and has a lot to be proud of!!
