  • A short film on Anxiety by Shane Crouch. The following film was created as an homework assignment for the Casey Neistat film course I am taking online. Casey's course is very helpful and has a great deal of information to learn. The assignment called for using a phone camera for the first film. I gave up on that in the first day and started using what I was more used to, my Canon R5. What started as a spontaneous idea about doing a film on how hard my day may be to start turned into a film about anxiety and some of the personal struggles I have had in the past. My hope is to bring awareness to the issues I and others have had so that it might help others.

Great short film Shane, it takes guts to let the facade down and talk about personal struggles. Well done!

Hey Shane, I really appreciate you sharing this. It's definitely something that needs to be talked about more openly.

Did you have the anxiety and depression already before the sleep apnea?

Yes, it started long before... But I am sure the lack of proper rest and exercise adds to it.

@@AnthonyCrouchPhotography Sorry to hear that, was hoping that maybe it could have been solved with a better solution for your sleep apnea. Indeed, lack of proper rest is killing: hope you'll be able to find some ways for improvement of quality of life.
Ever talked to an ENT doctor about possible improvements for treating the sleep apnea? Sometimes there are physical obstructions in the ENT region and doctors overlook them because they've assumed from the start that obesity is causing the problem. Even if that's not the case, maybe there's better equipment out there by now to help you sleep better.
