I have always told my children and grandchildren, "I'm not perfect and I don't expect you to be perfect either" and I steered clear away from people doing bad things and told my children the same thing. It's up to them as adults to make their decisions. I pray they choose the right path the one to be successful.
Watched this presentation for a Juvie course at my university🎉. Cheers! Wonderful practical presentation...especially since I'm a police officer who is passionate about helping youths.
I’m thinking the same thing, but the responsibility to help them shouldn’t be other kids. The adults should take them under their wing and keep them away from well behaved kids they could drag into conflict. Part of being “good” and “well behaved” inherently involves a soft heart, ie, easily influenced especially at a young age. “Good” often means sheltered and naaive, and the place to gain experience and knowledge isn’t from kids who inclined to crime
This video needs more attention!!
I worked with Byron at the State of Michigan. Byron is straight forward and a very good person. I enjoyed watching and I hope this helps many.
