Fantastic, Peter. As usual, I don't recognize any of these, but fascinating nontheless! Not a lot of snow in Connecticut this winter so far, but it ain't over yet. Sometimes It Snows In April, as the Prince song goes...😎🎶
@@onmyturntable7036 Well, there you go, Ed. I don’t know that Prince song! Spring snow is more interesting I think. We hardly get any winter snow around Saitama except a bit on the mountains.
Intriguing albums. I'm waiting impatiently for winter to end. I'm always surprised that there are so many Canadian bands that I don't know. I have experienced snow in May, but not in June, thankfully!
@@EmbryonicRobot I had snow in August once. But that was in the mountains in B.C. Canada has bands like washed up seaweed has sand fleas. I once found a website that listed over 700 black metal bands in Canada alone. Granted, many black metal “bands” are one or two people recording in their homes.
Great response, Peter! I need to check out the band, Winter. I do like Celtic Frost! The Tea Parties! I love a good acoustic guitar. I dig Baroness. You always show such interesting albums.
@@ChrisPropfeMusicallyObsessed That’s a great compliment, Chris! Thank you so much! I’m glad the selection was interesting. And thanks for sharing my video. That’s an honour!
Hi Peter!!! Yeah, for what i have read it's cold over there, northern hemisphere, and really hot down here, lol....... i'm not familiar with those cds you showed, but that's a lot of winter songs. First things that came to mind are Cinderella's "Long Cold Winter" and Accept's "Winter Dreams". cheers and be well
@@cristianosorio2517 Somebody showed Winter Dreams, but I forget who. Long Cold Winter is still an album I haven’t bought on CD yet but I’d like to someday. I remember really liking it back in the eighties.
It was 40c yesterday in Melbourne town but I'll watch your video to cool down. We southerners appreciate your thoughtfulness & crooning! I have that Baroness record. Great band. What's a mental funeral? Is that what you said? I have actually never seen snow. Cheers...Ben PS thanks for the shout out
@@benrankins4446 Hi, Ben. Forty degrees is acceptable in the desert. That Baroness album is different in a good way. Mental Funeral, yes. I welcome snow.
Hey Peter! OMG! You are the only other person besides me that I have seen show Mystery! I've even mentioned them to Canadiens who never heard of them. I have everything they have done. And them you show MoonQuake, which I have on vinyl. Very nice!
@@AisForAliceBisForBob You have all the Mystery albums, Steve? Even the first couple from the nineties? I’m really impressed. I have three albums, could become four or five. Yeah, Moonquake. That’s a great album! Bobby Gaylor mentioned that album not too long ago. I might have seen one more person show it too. Was it you perhaps?
@ I am very impressed! Mystery albums got a lot of favorable reviews on ProgArchives I recall. But I’ve only heard the band mentioned maybe once in the VC videos that I’ve seen.
I feel a little extra chilly just watching this. I missed this tag entirely - probably it got lost in the cloud. Paul Winter came to mind but he's a mite mellow to fit into your selections. Mystery sound like a cross between Styx and Rush.
@@MyVinylAttic Not as chilly as the ending to your Northern Vinyl Guy video ending! I was thinking about including people with the family name Winter as I did for last year’s moon tag. I mean, I mentioned Keith Moon, not Keith Winter. I don’t know any Keith Winters. I like Mystery, but I haven’t heard an album yet to make me love them. Good band for sure!

Man, when I heard Winter the first time back in the day, I couldn't fathom how slooooow it was. :D
@This-Is-Music Right? I’m going to listen to that album today. It’s been a few years.
@ I might gove it a spin one of these days too.
it's been a tagtastic (it's a word...) month!
