Never thought it would sound so mint with the M4, sounds a little bit like a mini R1,has some deep sound to it,I really enjoy your build videos keep them coming
I have always loved the sound of a twin. Excited to throw a leg over this bike. - Van
Ordered mine yesterday! So excited for this build
Appreciate your support my brother. - Van
Ordered mine two days ago, I also followed your tutorial on the Yoshimura fender eliminator install appreciate all you guys do, I thought I was happy to have that shark fin off the back of my bike but idk if it compares to receiving this exhaust. 💪🏽
Thanks for your support and enjoy your R7. - Van
that M4 sounds so sweet!!!! grabbing one of those for the wife's bike!
We run M4 on all of our bikes! Thanks for watching. - Van
Thanks for the video, I watched the whole installation video and it was great! I saw in one of your replies that it does not require tuning. However, does is it show any warning signs/lights without a tune?
There are no engine lights that illuminate after installing this system. Bolt this on and go ride, no problems. - Van
Sounds like a V8 Hemi love Yamaha Love the CP2 PARRAELL TWIN R7
Yamaha did a great job with this bike. - Van
Awesome how much HP does the m4 full exhaust give? Love the sound, so Nice😍😍
We have not taken the R7 to the dyno yet. Per M4 their system produces +7% Horsepower Over Stock System. I know they use the dyno extensively when building pipes and would trust this increase. - Van
Hello Van, I m planning to buy a race suit Astar Graphite v3. I m 6feet tall with 185pound, chest 43, waist 34. Could you please confirm me the size 54euro or 52euro ??
Also I wear size 42 shoes normally, I m also getting supertech R so shall I get size 41 as per your ‘go one less in supertech’ advice.
Thank you!
Really appreciate your videos from years!
Love from India
I would start with the size 52 Euro in the suit. This should get you a nice race fit. If you prefer more operating room with a looser fit then go for the 54. For the Supertech R boots we have found they run one size larger than marked so we suggest going down one size. Thanks for watching and take care. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear really appreciate your help! God bless you!
@@sportbiketrackgear size 54 should not be a complete shaggy suit on me right?? I have placed the order of 54 already! 🤞🏻
Hey van ! Does this exaust ships to europe? Best Regards ,Michael
We offer international shipping for sure. Just add the item to the cart along with your shipping details and the site will generate you quotes. - Van
Some sound, that!
I think it turned out great as well. Thanks for watching! - Van
I am looking at getting this however do you need a flash tune or anything after the install?
No you can install the system without a flash or any dyno work. Ride the bike, if you are happy with it no need to do anything. If you feel the power delivery could be a little smoother then have the bike tuned. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgearWould you say the same applies to every exhaust or was the m4 in particular specifically designed for the OEM tune?
M4 sounds good !! But have to say ... at least in video.... stock didn't sound too shabby
Down low the OEM is not too bad. Once you get into it a bit that changes pretty quickly IMO. - Van
Il hesitating between this one and the R77 Yoshimura. Any recommendations?
We have M4 on all of our bikes if that makes any difference. Their pipes look great, make the power you want and are reasonably priced. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear many thanks brother 🙏🏻
Really like the m4 but it's sadly "too loud and illegal" in germany, but in videos it doesnt sound soo loud, is it really 94db? 😅
Yes it is really that loud. Too bad, stock exhaust is boring. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear ya i think so too, thats why i try to find one that sounds like the m4 but only around 80db max, so the police wouldnt notice straight away that it is too loud and not legal😅 bc dont want them to take my bike only bc of exhaust, that would hurt even more
Do you need a tune with this exhaust to make it pop? And have this exhaust any negative effects on the motor of the bike long term?
There will not be any negative effects on the motor long term. You will get the popping on decel and I would expect this system and bike will do that under the right conditions. - Van
Use stock 02 sensors on a 24 r7?
The M4 system will accept the stock or aftermarket sensors. - Van
Any idea of how much weight saved with the m4 exhaust?
This system removes 7.7 lbs and produces close to 7% more horsepower over the stock system. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear is it possible to make the r7 weight under 400 lbs?
Is a tune required?
No you can install the full system and ride. If you are racing or want to get the absolute most performance possible then you should consider a tune. For the street ride the bike to see if you are happy with where it is before spending any more money. - Van
Where can I order the m4?

Sound op 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩💖💖💖🤘🏻👍🏻😘😘M4
Sounds pretty bad ass for sure. - Van
cool
Thank you for watching! - Van
Is this a slip on?
There are no slip ons for the R7 due to the design of the OEM system. This is an M4 full system. - Van
M4 sounds so much better than the stock can
100% - Van
I wish you guys carried Alpinestars helmets.
We do not do much offroad product here at STG. To date they have not brought any street product in that I have seen. - Van
Thanks Van. Yes, the mx helmets. As always STG are option number one.
sound like tiger growl
100% this R7 sounds EPIC. - Van
There's always that one boomer who thinks keeping everything stock is perfection. You'd have to be deaf to not like
that growl. I had the Yoshimura R77 on my MT07. The CP2 loves to bark.
I am 100% out on any stock exhaust. - Van
The development team of the R6 must be laughing in the aisles.
The lines between the R6 and the R1 were just getting too blurred. Sales for the R6 were not what they used to be so it was time for a change. IMO this is the right direction. Once we are done this bike will make close to 100hp and handle amazing. With a rider like Max on it most 1000's at a track day won't be able to turn the same times. Also important to note the bike is more affordable. - Van
Stock is better.
I have one for sale cheap...
And in typical CP2 fashion, it sounds like a Ninja 300 with an ebay pipe. Wish they'd have just made an R6 with a 750cc i4
This bike is the right move for Yamaha. The R6 and the R1 were just becoming far too similar which was hurting the sales of the R6. When this bike is done it will make around 100hp and handle like a dream. You put someone like Max Van on that bike at a track day and most 1000's will not turn faster lap times. Personally I love the sound of a twin. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear That doesn't make it the right move for Yamaha. If that were the case, they wouldn't be producing the R7, R9, and R1 together. The screaming R6 and cross plane R1 will always be two totally different bikes. The R7 is barely enough to ride on US interstates 😅
How do I get it to 100HP
Stock was better
We are 100% not on the same page. IMO the M4 is for sure much better. - Van
Inside his shop and on video it sounded decent, outside and in person they sound pretty pathetic.
