Just bought this exhaust thru STG and it is awesome! The stock exhaust is so quite I would tell people it was electric (as a joke), this exhaust really makes the r7 come to life!
Just installed this on my '23 R7. Followed each step and it turned out perfect! It took an embarrassingly amount of time to get the front on with the O-rings since I didn't have any grease. 2 years old but this video saved me alot of time
Ordered my M4 exhaust from STG. Just wanted to say thank you for making a great tutorial. I’m not mechanically inclined and your video saved me $$ in shop hours as I was able to do the install 100% on my own. Really appreciate it.
I recommed everyone who is about to install m4 exhaust to do at least ecu flash it will cost probably $300 to 350$ and it really worth it. The exhaust sounds will be better and not annoying also the performance will be much much better. Last thing it's easy to install the exhaust just follow the video instructions and good luck guys.
Taking the bike to a tuner and having it mapped is never a bad idea. If you are budget conscious I still recommend riding the bike after the install to see if you are happy with the performance first. - Van

Hey Brian, what would you recommend for the 2024 Yamaha R7. My exhaust choices are the M4 full exhaust or the Yoshimura AT2 Titanium Exhaust. I like loud aggressive sound. If you can help me out that would be great! Love all your videos!
No need to tune before you ride. We recommend installing the system and riding the bike to see how you feel about the performance. If you feel it could be smoother then take the bike to to a reputable tuner and have it mapped. Most do not need to do so. - Van

Just installed the M4 on my R7 was fairly easy to do the problem now is it backfires a little bit when you release the throttle are you having the same problem I’m guessing a Dino would fix this problem
This will not hurt anything and most think it is cool. If you want to get rid of this you will need PAIR block off plates and a dyno tune. Myself I would leave it alone unless you are racing. - Van
I just bought this for my R7 waiting on delivery. After instal do I need to do anything with mapping? I was told I'll need to get a powercomander. Any truth to this? Or do I just instal and ride?. Thanks a million.
You do not need to flash the ecu or install a fuel controller after installing an exhaust on this bike. If you are racing or would like to get the absolute most out of the bike then take the next steps. If you ride it and are happy with it then leave it alone ans save the money. - Van
Nice video! Looking to get the R7 soon. Can’t stand stock exhaust. You said no slip on available. I’m guessing that will never change? If I can’t install myself because my mechanical IQ is 0, would a dealership or shop do this install?
