For me I prefer 92 and up. Rarely do I go below 90. My preferred range is 101-140. Do some whiskey have good flavor at lower proof yes I do like Evan Williams 1783. But most of my whiskey is 50abv or above. I have zero whiskey below 92 proof. At this time.
@@ArtfullyBourbon That is Awesome that it can be that Good. EWBlack label is always Fred Minnicks base pour pallet cleanser at 70 points. If a bourbon can’t be better than that. It’s pretty bad. Or if a $80.00 or $150.00. Only get 74 points it’s terrible bourbon

We prefer the black label to the single barrel. But that’s due to a subpar bottle.

I own about 70 whiskies Basil Hayden’s Dark Rye is by far the worst. Undrinkable tastes like weird mushrooms 🍄🟫 soup. Gross 🤮
