So I just started this on Saturday. It's Sunday and I went from 15 likes to 135 likes in one day! The price is a little higher because of course this video is from 3 years ago and I'm sure Facebook ads have increased a bit since then (plus it's the holiday season) but I've only spent $4 so far! Are you going to do a Udemy or Skillshare course or something similar? I have started POD in order to learn about online marketing. (In order to market, you have to have a product to market, and POD is cheap to start.) I'd be interested in an entire course on Facebook marketing. You say that there is a special bonus for watching to the end, but cut off in mid-sentence. You haven't included a link to your course in the video description -- or at least I can't find it. Perhaps you did the course and then withdrew it? If the course still exists, I'd be interested in taking it.

This works! I created a page and started this right after I watches this yesterday with a video. Started getting engagement within about 2 hours. I done $5 a day. ONLY in the US as well. I am having 1 issue though, the like button isn't on my ad for the page.

Let's say I find a niche and I get an idea for a t-shirt. Then I create a facebook page for that niche. Now, I only have one or two ideas for a t-shirt which I think could be relatively successful inside that niche. 1. If I have many niche ideas (let's say 20) and only a few t-shirt ideas inside each niche, do I still create a page for every single one of them? 2. How much time (and money) should I invest into posting stuff related to that niche, when all I want to do is to sell that one or two t-shirt designs? 3. How many different designs inside one niche did you create and sell through one niche fb page? For example the bartender page - was it only one design? 4. How long do I keep that page active (post stuff regularly)? When do I stop? I'm sorry if this is too many questions (and using 'niche' so often - I just want it to be clear!), but I just can't wrap my head around it. I would really appreciate your reply

Andrew French I would make an ad per interest if the interest have a big enough audience. Then you can see which interest produces the cheapest results
When you have such a broad reach for the interests you are selecting, how do you determine the success of the likes? For example if you have a business, how do you know if those likes are turning to sales and worth the monetary investment?
Everyone seems to be pretty happy and I like the content, but I have a few critical questions. 1) How does your page have 100,000 followers, yet the average amount of likes is around 200 and views around 500? (a page on Instagram could easily produce that with around only 2000 followers) 2) How does the post you show in your course have 2.5k likes yet the others are around 200?
I generally do this with post and withing 2 hours on average I can see spends as low as $0.003 to $0.005 - The only problem with this method is that since most of the traffic is coming from South East Asia, the Middle East and Africa; that you can only really uses this traffic as social proof that there is interest in the fan page. Next if 100+ people in any country have liked the post or page you need to create a custom audience or look-a-like audience to a target country like the US, UK, CA, AUS, since these countries are where it is mostly like that people will be opening up their wallets to purchase goods you are promoting.
Which is why I dont like this type of method. You are advertising to regions that dont have much bidding competition. My audience is US and I dont want people from outside that area.
US works too, I can't say as fast, but I made a dog mom page and used a cute dog video clip and it started working within a couple hours. I plan to use it for drop shipping and shirts

If they were to look at your page the first time and start engaging with a few of your posts and/or sharing them, they would be signalling to Facebook that they like your content. Because of the algorithms, they would potentially see some of your posts in their News Feed. Everyone’s Facebook News Feed is tailored to their personal interests and habits. Also, Facebook friends’ post take precedence before anything else. If they simply like your page and leave, the chances of them seeing your content in their News Feed thereafter, are relatively slim. Unless they have a small profile with only a small amount of friends and aren’t in tons of groups and what not, then maybe they’ll see the occasional post. If they’ve got 4,000 friends and are in 70 groups, then there is no chance they’ll see anything. First impressions are very important.
I never been able to make an ads for my band page. Anything I tried was refuse for profanity or what ever. But all I use is a video of me playing guitar with a wig. My CPL is $0.01 cent. But Facebook only said it can do 500 likes a day. Got a feeling it will take more then a month however if my CPL doesn't change this campaign will be well worth it.
Shimmy, great video! It did help me grow my followers fast on Facebook. However there is one thing I don’t understand. My followers grew from 200 to 800 quick, but the engagements and likes did not increase at all. Seems like my new posts didn’t show up in their feed. How come?
With facebooks new algorithm you need to get your followers to not only like a page but follow it so they see all the posts. that could be the issue...

I figured about 20 secs in that you were going to talk about global targeting as a method as ive seen and heard of this before. how your method is a bit more focuses. however, the main concern here is, how do you monitize a page with global traffic? i was thinking possibly with T-shirts, clickbank products, even get some on a mailing list with global targeted offers. what do you think about my approach?

its fine to get more likes but what are going to do with those likes once you have them? If they can cant be converted to leads then they are just a bunch of people you do not know whom you have no data on for targeting or retargeting campaigns

It is also not showing my page like results or cost per result but my page likes are going up. I am not doing anything else so I know its because of the add that I am getting page like increases
julio desir yes I’m sure it will. It won’t affect groups as much because of the social interaction. And big pages that get a lot of comments probably won’t get affected as much. But it’ll certainly be harder for the smaller people

for social proof i dont care if they are english or not. you get the cheapest clicks by chosing places like india, phillipeans etc. Works much better to start a page and then have a more targeted niche audience later after the social proof has set in
When choosing worldwide it seems my ad is shown only in poorer countries. Sorry to sound cynical but won't this be counterproductive for my online business on the long run if I have a huge amount of followers that will not buy my products? Like that even if I pay for boosting my posts I won't get much in return..
You should only do it for a tiny bit to build up social proof. Then ads to main countries will be a lot cheaper. You can still do this method to main countries however the likes may cost a tiny bit more.
Brad Mason not everyone does understand the theory behind it. But yes, Facebook marketing works if you do it right - what he’s showing here is a very base understanding but that’s still important to the right people. Of course every business is different - but if you tailor the ad to the right people at the right time conversions are huge.

Yes. I watched last night (March 4th) and immediately tried with only a $5 ad spend. Woke up to 397 new page likes. at $0.004 per like. and only spent $1.97 so far
it's a common glitch with Facebook. Has happened to me. Make sure the interests tab is empty, add those after. If it's still not working then I would suggest just adding; Europe, Asia, Australia, United states... etc etc

Mimi - Sounds like you chose the wrong ad type. Go back to the 2:35 mark where he chooses "Page Likes"

I figured about 20 secs in that you were going to talk about global targeting as a method as ive seen and heard of this before. how your method is a bit more focuses. however, the main concern here is, how do you monitize a page with global traffic? i was thinking possibly with T-shirts, clickbank products, even get some on a mailing list with global targeted offers.
what do you think about my approach?
That seems like quite a good approach. I start with global traffic for social proof then dial it down to a country and that's when monetizing begins.

its fine to get more likes but what are going to do with those likes once you have them? If they can cant be converted to leads then they are just a bunch of people you do not know whom you have no data on for targeting or retargeting campaigns

Is there a reason why I haven’t seen any activity at all since the ad went live? Ive set it for only 2 days as a test. Its been active for almost a full day now and it says I haven’t spent anything.. what’s the issue?
Could be an issue with the ad. Maybe create it again and see if it starts running. That can sometimes happen.

julio desir yes I’m sure it will. It won’t affect groups as much because of the social interaction. And big pages that get a lot of comments probably won’t get affected as much. But it’ll certainly be harder for the smaller people

for social proof i dont care if they are english or not. you get the cheapest clicks by chosing places like india, phillipeans etc. Works much better to start a page and then have a more targeted niche audience later after the social proof has set in

When choosing worldwide it seems my ad is shown only in poorer countries. Sorry to sound cynical but won't this be counterproductive for my online business on the long run if I have a huge amount of followers that will not buy my products? Like that even if I pay for boosting my posts I won't get much in return..
You should only do it for a tiny bit to build up social proof. Then ads to main countries will be a lot cheaper. You can still do this method to main countries however the likes may cost a tiny bit more.

But yes, Facebook marketing works if you do it right - what he’s showing here is a very base understanding but that’s still important to the right people. Of course every business is different - but if you tailor the ad to the right people at the right time conversions are huge.

it's a common glitch with Facebook. Has happened to me. Make sure the interests tab is empty, add those after. If it's still not working then I would suggest just adding; Europe, Asia, Australia, United states... etc etc
