Ky almost got obliterated BY A GIANT NUCLEAR DEATHBALL, and yet he's still proud of her for pulling it off AND holding back. That man has BALLS.

People seem to be forgetting that Ky is the only character to marry another character during course of the games.
And story wise - he found the cutest, yet the DEADLIEST gear, married her, had a son with her (and that probably wasn't the only time they banged) and sacrificed his Thunderseal in order to save her.
Ky has balls the size of Slayer's giant room filled with fucks he doesn't give.

That feeling when the after story finally gave the Ky loyalists what they want, that he was basically not trying to kill Sol when they fought, and when Sol pissed him off he won their duel easily. He has too much respect for sol and views him as a man, not a monster. I bet they've been waiting since overture to make the theme for Sol with Limiter Released vs Ky with his red eye. They've been building for so long, the series would be blue balling us after everything in Xrd if they didn't have that one duel on parity. I don't even care if sol ultimately wins.
I honestly can't tell if Ky was happy it missed, proud of how strong Dizzy is, or aroused by how much destruction her attack had.
I guess it's a little bit of column A, column B, and column C...
I think he is trying to act sweet so he doesn't get destroyed

Dizzy in terms of raw power is easily the most powerful character in Guilty Gear. Be thankful she has never really trained to use her power beyond trying to keep it under control and that she has no desire to hurt people. She is more powerful than Justice, confirmed by Justice not taking control of Dizzy when she awakened.
Her son and Sol are comfortably stronger than her, Sol is the strongest tied to that man while Slayer stays god tier but for the plot reasons Sol is the strongest. Sin beat both Jack-O and I-no at the same time and can scale to his grandad in base. Dizzy like you said hasn't trained her true power and thusly falls short to Sin and Sol, because if she did train yes she'd be more powerful than any other character maybe other than that man and slayer.
Jordan Smith I think at the very least Sol, That Man, and Slayer are more powerful than her. Not sure about the Justice thing, where was that stated?

It's impossible to say, partly because Justice is unranked by the administration, as she's dead by then. However, while what Justice showed was more destructive than anything Dizzy's done, Justice wasn't holding back, while any show of force Dizzy gives is reluctant. The implication is relatively strong that if Dizzy ever full-on lost it, there'd be little capable of stopping her, if anything.
MiaowGaiGar However, said fleet-destroying attack was done without reluctance, and even here it's shown that she isn't always in control. Ironicaly, Justice(or rather Aria, the original) wasn't willing to use her power when she wiped Japan out.
@@MiaowGaiGar Necromancy, but I had to. Slayer could possibly stop her. It's implied that NOTHING is an actual threat to the invincible vampire. Even when he loses he doesn't get knocked out he just lays down looking "I'm bored now."
Love how Ky's face pretty much speaks 'I love you anyways' after witnessing his wife frickin ball of destruction. And her own reaction upon missing at herself, jo~kes.
I'd like to think Slayer's casual response boils down to something like, 'as one would expect from this family'.

Here's another thing: this is why I would love the idea of a Guilty Gear/BlazBlue crossover game, because animating the BlazBlue characters's reactions to this kind of Instant Kill would be awesome. I mean, how would a character like Yuuki Terumi react to Dizzy's "Instant Kill" for example? It would be first time anything would scare the shit out of him. Literally. lol
Didn't Celica scare him in CP? because she weakens him so much? Also I remember seeing an interview with Mori where he said he's open to the idea of a crossover after Blazblue's story is finished.

Out of all these reaction Dizzy herself has the best one. "Oops." Not even Ky going "My beautiful wife", not Chipp going "WHAT THE F IS THAT?!", not Millia "You were an assassin, you must remain calm", not Slayer "Oh, well.", not Axl and Ram "I surrender" can match that simple realization that what she just did can be compressed into simple "Oops."

An Istant Kill... that doesn't actually instantly kill or surgically "incapacitate" the character (Hi Faust lol) : the enemy just plain surrender and that's brilliant!
