As a young NFL fan in the UK, I liked the 49ers and I would watch a VHS recording of the game over and over. At one point I could recite Pat Summerrall's commentary by heart!

The other two losses the Broncos had weren't exactly nailbiters either, a 27-10 loss to the Cowboys in Super Bowl XII that they never led in and also saw Craig Morton complete as many passes to the Cowboys as he did the Broncos, and Super Bowl XXI the Broncos turned a 10-7 first quarter lead into a 39-20 loss as they let Phil Simms do whatever he wanted as he set a Super Bowl record for completion percentage with a 22-25 day.

@jeffduran8112 Buffalo and Minnesota both have 4 SB losses, no wins. Broncos used to be 0-4 too before our first win. So thankfully we broke our curse but we still carry the SB blowout monkey, possibly forever.

Life long Broncos fan but the Super Bowl against the Seahawks, I was too young to remember our back to back chips. I went through every single emotion during that superbowl. Crying, screaming, laughing, you name it.

To be fair, in Super Bowl 48 the Broncos lost to the #1 defense in the NFL. But in Super Bowl 50, they won AS the #1 defense.
Its wild how bizarre most of the Broncow SBs have been. They either win in spectacular fashion or get absolutely clobbered.
That Seahawks game was the worst Superbowl party ever!!! Oh and then the next year I moved to New England so that was fun to live through.
Oh the PAIN, I lived in California for that drubbing. I don't know what is worse, remembering those loses or the present state of affairs. Probably todays problems, at least the Broncos were contenders year over year for 30 years

You can make a solid argument that the Broncos were the best franchise in the NFL from ‘75 through ‘15. 8 AFC championships to go along with those 3 chips, and didn’t have back to back losing seasons for 45 years!?! Nope that would be the Steelers or 49ers. Steelers have 5 Super Bowls, 7 Appearances and played in 15 Conference Championships in that span. 49ers have 5 Super Bowls, 6 appearances and played in 13 Conference Championships in that span.
