Your channel is legit the only ED related one I follow because it honestly is the only one that supports LIFE and full recovery- not that halfway BS where you gain a little weight but then become exercise obsessed or something. Really appreciate these words as I plan to go into treatment very soon. 🎉
Hi Emily!! I love how you said that the hunger is furnishing the house. That’s so true, once I started eating more, even after initially gaining a lot of weight, that’s when I felt more like myself and full of life. So yes, honor that hunger no matter what. It’s so worth it to have the food freedom and happiness that comes with fueling yourself properly. Sending you lots of love and big hugs always! xoxo 🤗🥰❤️💕🫶
Beautiful analogy! You had me laughing at '..have you seen this place?' Certainly gives me a proper perspective. Thank you! 10 June 2023 - revisiting this video - among others of yours - after a lovely meal.😊Your videos help me stay motivated and encouraged. Thank you, again!
So beautifully and perfectly said!! Also, to have “overshoot weight” is not only normal, but almost needed before the set point weight can actually “set” in . :)
Hey Emma, thank you for this question and I have actually just added this topic to my list of videos to do as I think it would be a good one to explore in more detail (especially the second part about nutritional rehabilitation). For now though, please know that permission to eat without restriction has no finish line and so actioning your unconditional permission to eat is something you do both in recovery and beyond xx
Very true. And the longer you were in deficit, the longer it can take for nutritional rehabilitation.

Have heard your podcast and I am excited for the next episodes it is really inconceivably to eat "normal" and not to look what others eat.
How do you know when you can stop doing all of these recovery actions? How do you know when you are nutritionally rehabilitated?
