What Spotlight use? Spotlight SE 19 or 36 in the shooting at 6:43 and 7:00? And what is the difference from Spotlight SE 19 Lens Only and 19 Lens Kit? Thanks
I’ll have to double check which one. Difference between lens only and kit is that it is literally just a lens versus a lens with the spotlight mount. You’ll need the kit and then you can purchase another lens separately if you’d like
Very stupid question! But for the last part what was used to have the filter the shape the light (the purple dots and the matrix numbers) and what was used for it to be mounted? 7:45 Is there a link to it 😅
as long as it's roughly the same color quality, shouldn't be a problem! It really depends what modifiers you're using if any, which will effect any hotspots or the softness on the wall. Kind of a trial and error thing. People mix fixtures all the time though.@@NixPerada
Is it possible to control Aputure Amaran 300C LED light effects from the LED light body? i did it from mobile application, but i want to control it from LED light body, is it possible or no?
Quick question :)🙋♂️ The dreamy flower scene… were the side light and light above with the spotlight attachment both 300c? Really trying to decide whether to go 2x300c or 1x300c, 1x150c? Any input is greatly appreciated as I will be purchasing today ❤
At 3:55 on the video the light above is a 150C.. I'm assuming that it's much lighter to boom overhead as opposed to the 300C. It would depend on how you plan to use the lights but 1 300C x 150C would be a versatile setup.
Here’s my situation I really hope you can help me🙏🏽, I just started filming and doing food vlog and I usually film in my kitchen slash dining area because the morning sun comes thru my blinds and it creates this beautiful warm lighting enough lighting for me to film just the feel I’m going for, but when it’s cloudy and the sun doesn’t cooperate because of clouds or weather etc I’m thinking on placing a spotlight outside my window to replicate the sunlight, is there specific spotlight and how many and the intensity or brightness and brand you recommend that don’t break my bank account and serves the purpose or something that are in high end but not to expensive you can recommend, I really appreciate and thank you in advance ❤
Meet your new best friends: amaran 60x S & Spotlight SE 36°. The 60x S is a budget friendly Light which can be powered with NPF batteries, meaning you don't necessarily need to have a long extinction cord to power it! The Spotlight SE 36° is the spotlight you're looking for. The 36° lens which comes with it makes sure the light spread is big enough! Just make sure to use a somewhat sturdy tripod/C-stand of you're placing the light outside.
I wish i could afford these lights and gear to try shooting the kind of photos i want to. But we will make do with natural lighting and indoor lights 🤠
why is my 300c not as bright as my other 150c??? I thought the 300c would be brighter (no modifiers + same stand, same distance to wall, same cables etc)
It definitely should be brighter than the 150c. Please fill out our support form here and our team will help you resolve any issues www.aputure.com/contact-support/
Very cool but photos, light, setup. However I hate that you ask for the “good side”. As a photographer, part of our goal is to make people realize that we do not have a good side. We are all photogenic.. from all sides. We should be empowering. Not reinforcing insecurities.
Moody talks too fast and is almost incomprehensible when using sentences fast fired! A breakdown of each light and what it does would be good before you start shooting... Great video otherwise :)
i ADORE the behind the scenes
Picking up the Amaran 150C this weekend!
Great choice! Tag us in your creations!
It's been so long since I've watched a video more than once. this is SO good!
I wonder which boom arm or boom stand you are using!
Sick that Kim Rose came out from her studio to model for this. The video was perfectly paced and cool to see Os doing his thing!
They’s both amazing! Thanks for watching!
Loved, just waiting to arrive my 2x 300c and start to use it in studio.
Awesome. Always cool to see a bit behind the scenes of how it all goes down. Well explained:)
Thank you!
My kind of photography. Awesome.
So cool to see the BTS! Great photos.
Insanee 😍
That’s insane that no photographer has ever asked what side she prefers.
It doesn't matter what side she prefers

I looove this shoot
👏🏻👏🏻 Thanks for being a great model!
Really love this type of videos!
Loved to see behind the scenes! Thanks for the video
Glad you enjoyed it!
what spotlight se did you use? the 19 or 36 degree?
loved the video so much good info!!

"Is there a result yet?"
What would be a cheaper alternative to amaran 300c? I currently have a really small homestudio.
amaran 150c or 100d/200x
Very stupid question! But for the last part what was used to have the filter the shape the light (the purple dots and the matrix numbers) and what was used for it to be mounted? 7:45

Amaran Spotlight SE and a gobo! It comes with it. Basically a metal pice that had holes in it that you insert into the spotlight
So part of the dreamy effect is a filter lens?
*I ask because I was wondering if a can do it in Lightroom or with a hack on a cheap filter lens*
All of the above work! Some people just rub vaseline on their lens to get a dreamy effect.
@@amarancreators ohhhh thank you ☺️
Do you think these could work well for food photography and filming?
Awesome ! Thanks for tips
thank you this is an incredible video
Thanks for watching!
the best photos ive ever seen
This is massive 💯...... I doff my cap
is the 300c brighter than the 200xs?
Any info on the Barn Doors? Can you use any that are Bowens ?
Is it possible to hang this on a ceiling to light the background of a cyc wall? may 2 or 3 of the 150c is possible?
Yep! Could attach to the ceiling with a super clamp or baby pin wall mount. Just make sure you drill into a stud if doing any drilling.
tnx for the reply is it ok to use 150c instead of the panel lights. so the lights can be more versatile?

Do these lights shoot as a strobe as well or continuous only?
Continuous only! They do have lighting FX Modes though
If it was dual function I would have checked out already

Can the spotlight se be used on a Aputure 300D II and still be fully functional or does it require the Amaran 300c or 150c?
It can work with Aputure 300d
Is the spotlight compatible with Nanlite lights?
It should be because it’s bowens mount
can someone explain how to do dreamy effect in post production?
1. What barn doors are these? I figure they need to be somewhat lighter for the amaran?
I looked through the comments so I found the answer :) nice stuff. I remember you starting out !
Thanks!!@@TwixlerDev And just the Aputure barn doors.
Awesome video and very helpful. Would like to know the camera setting.
Thanks, will do!
What barn door are you using?
Aputure barndoors! But anything that has a bowens mount will work
Will two Amaran 150C also work?
Is it possible to control Aputure Amaran 300C LED light effects from the LED light body? i did it from mobile application, but i want to control it from LED light body, is it possible or no?

The light above was a 150c 👍🏻
It’s great to have both as an option 👍🏻 you really can’t go wrong though.
Does this light have built in effects
Yep!
Could this be pulled off with the 150C??
Definitely! Just need the room to have less ambient light or shoot at night and then adjust camera settings
