Double check your Bluetooth security settings. It may be off for the amaran app. Was it working before the update for you?

@@amarancreators Thanks, but that's the first thing I checked. I had to reset bluetooth on all my fixtures and re-pair them with the amaran app... and out of the Sidus link app.

Any fixture with Sidus Mesh technology will work with the new amaran Apps. Certain Aputure features such as motorized yoke control and the electronic Aputure Mount are not featured within the app. Sidus will still have more control features but depending on your needs the amaran app has most of the main control options available and easier to use and maintain.

@@Maxwell_Miranda That's great to hear. Especially for the desktop app, so someone can control it without me handing them my phone for the day or an ipad that's being used for something else like video monitoring.

Diagram Master is not a feature we have at launch but, we are looking into options of integrating a diagram feature in the future.

Yes, we would never stop any Sidus Mesh enabled fixture to work with any app in our ecosystem.

Simpler interface and controls tailored for content creator needs. The desktop version is great for static setups for studio and streaming use and has integration with the Elgato Stream Deck

@@_FrontFootFilms_ many users have found the Sidus app to be a bit complicated for their needs. Some users have also asked for desktop control app for streaming and studio use as well.. We listened to their feedback and made these apps. This doesn’t mean amaran fixtures can’t be used with the Sidus app. We plan on continuing compatibility with Sidus. If you prefer Sidus you can continue using it.

@@_FrontFootFilms_ I am not saying they are simpler but their demands are typically less that the average filmmaker and have been asking for this type of revision for years.

I was thinking the same thing, wondering why make a different apps. I am happy for a desktop app and stream deck integration. I doubt most professionals will need to control their lights via a stream deck 😊

@@shawnchenco So far looks like amaran lights will still work with Sidus Link and the steam deck/desktop integration is cool so I retract my previous negativity, it seems like some content creators might enjoy this as an added feature that doesn't affect pro users.
