Definitely makes you appreciate the longitudinal layout much more. I think we found a new name and license plate for the Lexus. Bug Slayer / BUGSLYR. We drove from Washington to Michigan back in 2020, and we still have splattered bugs that we can't remove using a pressure washer.
The fact that our front bumper, at some point before my wife got it, had some bumper work done on it and doesn’t have much for clear coat or protection in it anymore. So the Oklahoma pest stick really nicely and, like you said.. don’t like to come off.
That's why before taking of the other belt if it didn't jumped timing you should have made timing lines on ur old belt then used it for marks on the new bud work smarter than harder but great job anyways!!!
I did mark it before I removed it, just didn’t show it. I just decided before I transferred them over that I wanted to go with a better brand belt instead of the Amazon special. But yeah, I know that trick, I just didn’t show it. Good looking out though, I appreciate it.
I never found an exact answer to that. I torqued them to what the standard is by the size of the bolt. I did 15lb ft for the bolts and 10 for the nuts. Haven’t had any issues since the install.
This is a kit that I got. a.co/d/dHuhr5e the only thing about it is there are no timing marks on the belt. I ending up buying a Gates belt from Oreilly’s
I appreciate that. I’m glad I could help. 50K miles is about the max you want to chance with a timing belt so if you’re getting close to that then it’s a good time to do it. Thank you again!

What was the torque spec on those water pump bolts???

The import direct kit I ordered had all the torque specs in it
Good to know, thank you for the info.
Suddenly there was a duck! 5 out of 5!
After finishing my cv axle, I'm here to service my timing belt 😃
Great job ORGEE love your DUCK
Can you provide a link to the Amazon kit thanks
Here’s the link to the kit I bought. Just remember I ended up buying the gates belt separate because it had the timing marks on it.

This was a horrible video with zero instruction on what to do / tools needed, unless you’re mechanically inclined.
Need it help asap
Hi,
Got the link for the kit?
