So, there are mostly three combo types in Re:Coded Normal (Based of Sora's default combo): Kingdom Key Wishing Star Lady Luck Oblivion Zero / One Oathkeeper Ultima Weapon Power Type: Olympia Metal Chocobo Speed Type (which looks kinda like Roxas's Limit Break from Days) Three Wishes Lionheart They did try to spice it up at least, but remember that Oathkeeper, Ultima Weapon, Metal Chocobo, and Lionheart have to be found instead of just beating the world. Ultima is unlocked after the hardest system sector, Oathkeeper after High Ranking the Final Boss (on Critical I believe) while MC is found via longest Olympus Maze, and Lionheart via final system sector in Traverse Town (if memory serves right) The player is less likely to see the same combo the entire game via just trying to mix things up via the player being, the player.
I like in recode it that they got the mapping size of the world correct unlike in 358/2 days the original Disney World were a bit too wider and bigger in that game
KH re coded is not a bad game, is the perfect KH "port" to the DS (KH 358/2 Days is great, but dont feel KHish as recoded). Yes the story sucks, by this day was not much relevant in the saga, but is very fun to play :)
Maybe this is just me but I'm REALLY sick of the standard ground combo in KH... the Overhead strike, thrust, spin slash combo. The combo modifiers are fine but I'd rather see a new string in KH4 onward.
Most of these are the same but the ones that are different, whew. Olympia(plus MC Ig): Actually feels super heavy like it looked in KH1, and hell that's some distance. Three Wishes: Actually feels magical to swing. Oblivion: Fastest thing since mega flare Zero/One: For being the titular "hard to get" keyblade of the game it sure is just like KK Ultima Weapon: Slow, but powerful as all hell, and I'm glad it's KH1 ultima because that's the best design until 3.
2:54 This is basically just Roxas’s desperation move with his own twist that’s sick also nice vid makes me want to play it after I finish days
Someone finally did it! Interesting to see a combination of KH1, KH2 and 358/2 Days movesets.
So, there are mostly three combo types in Re:Coded
Normal (Based of Sora's default combo):
Kingdom Key
Wishing Star
Lady Luck
Oblivion
Zero / One
Oathkeeper
Ultima Weapon
Power Type:
Olympia
Metal Chocobo
Speed Type (which looks kinda like Roxas's Limit Break from Days)
Three Wishes
Lionheart

i got oathkeeper after beating roxas on standard, i think it's just the last keyblade you get for beating the game
Gosh they really outdid themselves with this for being a game on the DS. Combat was so satisfying
I wish this game was remade
Instead it was RE: Coded 🤣
Kh re re coded
Nah, it would probably be Re: Coded Final Mix.
Sooo kh re re:coded?
@@QP_lite maybe kh re: coded²
I like how you can here the sound of the blade swinging with Metal Chocobo. I think it represents how heavy the blade is lol
"YA YA HA HA YEA HA YA YEA AHA" -sora probably
I like the idea of keyblades having different weights that affect their attack style.
This is even more satisfying when you do it to a strong heartless like the Invisibles
The way the combos repeat and some of the swings are animated - remind me of modded KH2 or 3 ;P
This game is the reason the A button on my DS Lite is screwed up lol, have over 170 hours on my childhood save, give or take a few
This is a pretty good game
This was such a fun game cant wait to play it again soon. Bless our lord and savior MelonDS my brother's in Christ 🙏
Lionheart keyblade sword combo looks same as the nimble keyblade in 358/2days
Keyblades like Olympia were BROKEN movement wise
Where came this RE:coded Love??
This is the proof that time changes opinion.
I like in recode it that they got the mapping size of the world correct unlike in 358/2 days the original Disney World were a bit too wider and bigger in that game
its compensating for the fact you can have four people multiplayer in that game
@zaqareemalcolm ho, that makes sense I've never thought of that.
Also I'm making this a seperate comment, because... the Ultima Weapon+Attack Haste is wrong. you had Brick Wall active, not Attack Haste

Every game from the franchise is relevant. Lol
@@Khino.978 oh indeed, is just not THAT relevant, is skipable imo
@sergin i agree to an extent , the only important parts are the cutscenes after the roxas and even then its kinda eh
Coulda left wishing stat and Lady Luck out of this vid cause it’s the exact same as the kingdom key
recoded did the impossible and fixed dodge slash lmao

I'm fairly certain Ultima and Kingdom Key are the same speed.
@@parttimelazy4593 It doesn't look like it, it looks slightly slower
