I love these so much. Such an awesome exercise. Great work, and I really like the set up!

Thank you! I think in the future I will switch between this balance heavy version and the one with a large plate on top for a bit more stability. Beause the latter will get me somewhat more range of motion with a higher load and without threatening my floor.

Thanks! Yes, on the wood bottom it is much easier to find the gravity center of the stack.

Thank you! For most goals and purposes you don't need that much ROM anyway. Primarily, I do it because it helps me with my sandbag training.

Hmm. Throwing a 20 kg sand bag?

Throwing sandbags from 20 up to 32kg (in steps of 4kg) over a very high bar is a standard discipline in strongman competitions.
Hmm, maybe I can build one and throw it up onto my roof deck. I'll make a screenshot of your comment. Thanks!

@@creativetraininghacks Ohh i didn't know about that! I just saw sprinters throw medicine balls as far as they can up and behind them to develop explosive power. I just made a small 20kg sandbag and tested it once, it works pretty good since the sand makes for a soft landing.

@@victorstreet How about you post a video about it? I think that would look pretty cool on video.
