Airplanes towing banner advertisements are a time-honored aspect of the beach experience, and they recently piqued the curiosity of Braintree’s Deb McMartin, who reached out to The Curiosity Desk for help. “My question,” she asked, “is those planes that fly by that have the trailing banners - how do they take off and how do they land with those things?”
