When I was in we loaded empty sandbags with mags and bottles of water to run to forward or cut off positions. I chest rig would be good for that to. Condor makes really good stuff for the price, I’ve never had an issue with them.
After seeing these 2 chest rigs I believe Vism and Condor is in the same. I've hear gear snobs rip on Condor but I have both Vism and Condor gear and it's good enough.
Yeah, I have a minimalist chest rig that I love. It was cheap but well stitched. It is a H harness rather than a X like yours so it can be a pain to put on if you want it tight. I am thinking about trying to convert it to a X.
First time I ever really owned or used a X harness. In the military all I had ever used was an H or in a lot of cases a vest. I guess the X system came from the Chinese communist. They do feel ok though.
