Man, I'm learning so much about Halo from this DnD but Actually Betrayal video, I didn't know Master Chief was born in Kentucky in 1899, trained with Yugi Moto, drank Mountain Dew Livewire, played Smash Bros or married Cortana!

I'm in fucking tears I laughed so hard the entire time good god. So good man, besides the players, the edit with the stupid little animations enhances the experience tenfolds. I need a day to recover from this good god

I love how Skyler and Taron feed so well off each other. I couldn't stop laughing at both of their characters in this. Keep these board games up, they're amazing and I'm glad UA-cam recommended the Monopoly video to me at first.
So you gave the cleric really low sanity when the priest type characters always have really high sanity in Betrayal. Battle cleric, I guess Edit: Actually you know what, after seeing the first half of the video I understand giving this particular cleric low sanity
Only in D&D but actually is where metagaming is not only legal, it's encouraged. It's also where we take all manner of lawful good and just set it on fire. For there is only chaos. "Americans can find themselves anywhere." Now, as a Brit, I can confirm that truer words have never been spoken. Americans are everywhere. (And that's a good thing.) Also, I was not expecting Val to go through the whole Lord of the Rings story arc in a speed run but here we are.
Well, Taron's Texan accent is an Oklahoma accent not having to stretch that far, I actually have a Texan accent but the only other one I can reliably do is cartoon Kentucky, and Val's genuine bonafide French accent gets more intense the deeper we get into conflict
...I didn't realize that these were two separate people. UA-cam recommended both of them at the same time, and the style of these videos is similar enough that I totally thought it was the same channel.
Very fun video, interesting use of some D&D flavored rules and actions in Betrayal. Also for your, and everyone else's, reference, Pathfinder 2e does have a Magical Girl archetype, so you can play as a hero chosen by the stars that transforms their appearance in a burst of light that dazzles your enemies. It's actually called the Starlit Sentinel, for looking it up purposes. Just thought I'd let the people know-
I think I’ve definitely found one of my new favorite channels. Endless laughter with these types of videos. This cast of people and your GMing really makes this a masterpiece in comedy! Props to all of you and can’t wait to see more!!!

I saw "but it's Betrayal" and got really excited, then proceeded to remember most people that I know only know the game because I introduced them to it and tried to temper my expectations... I was not disappointed! ❤️❤️❤️
I was thinking since you transferred gold between games, this house could have been like a Monopoly board space, where players get pulled into the house. Their stats could reset while they’re inside, but they keep whatever they win. If they die, it just sends them back to the Monopoly board. I thought it’d be fun to incorporate different games into this D&D adventure. What if there’s no final goal, and you just keep moving to different boards, expanding the lore over time? Previous games would still be canon on other boards, but whether it helps would depend on the Dungeon Master. By the way, I wasn’t interested in D&D until I saw the first Monopoly D&D video 3 months ago.
D&D but actually Red Dragon Inn would be interesting. Since the whole idea about Red Dragon Inn is that there are four players taking on the roles of characters you'll find in a D&D Campaign. With the requirements to win being either that you have to not let your fortuide and alcohol level not meet or you need to not reach zero gold. Yes I know that the latter option makes it sounds like D&D But Actually Monopoly. But again it would be interesting. Especially after all the expansions which came to the game. Just don't do Pub Crawl right away since experiencing playing the base version of Red Dragon Inn is required, I think.
Fun fact: The Haunt roll, has changed between 1st edition and the later. In this you roll a fixed set of dice vs. amount of omen. In later editions, you roll 1 die per omen, vs. a fixed amount. This prevents the immediate-haunt problem that 1st edition had.
Personally I like to add in a new chart in it where I set upa chart on secret baddasses like which of the party members had gathered up the righ tstuff before the betrayal to turn them into a hidden baddass. Like Chuck norris, Doom Guy, Master chief. A space marine, Ash Williams, Etc. makes the game pretty a bit more interesting.
@@Isliandra Basically it's like upgrading the character with special abilities and buffs depending on the baddass. Like if you got the doom slayer all the defence you get from the armor you can find is increased and it turns into the predator armor and any demonic like entity who see's you have a certain chance of freezing in fear at the sight of you. As well as you can have the option of rolling a 1 in 6 chance to achieve a glory kill or a regular attack Ash Williams gets bonuses against zombies but also has a extra Pluss to damage on account of his well ability to kill things sometimes in ridiculous ways. Their can also be more than one bad ass as the bass ass is only revealed once the villain is revealed so you can have more than one and sometimes the baddass's could me a type that might view another baddass as a rival meaning that you can have a 3 way fight depending on what you get. or even more depending on players. Not to mention the baddasses also have the same armaments as what they get in the games and movies. Just picture Robocop suddenly pulling off a mask and starts boxing with a werewolf.
Fun facts: This is 1st edition. There's an Expansion: Widows Walk, there's a 2nd and 3rd edition too. There's also a Baldurs Gate version, AND a Scooby Doo version. Oh, and the best one: The Legacy Version!
