Very Cool photo Logan!! I absolutely Love learning About Stars, It's Quite Intresting to Get the Context Of What's happening in the nebula along! There is More To see than I thought!
I can definitely see the Crocs eye in there in fact you can kinda make out the jaw too. Nice target another new one I never knew of. Glad to see you got some clear skies. 👍
Thanks Tich. I think to really do this bit of the sky justice, I'd need twice the integration time...... or less if I could image from The Scorpion Brothers pristine Bortle 1 skies at Alpha Scorpii.
Thanks Jason. I really needed to be imaging this from somewhere like Alpha Scorpii to get the most out of the OIII but Omega Aucklandii 😂will have to do for now.
Excellent image Logan, these rarely seen targets are so interesting mate👍 Great info and a lot to take in! Good work! 3 rigs!! I struggle with two🤣 Glad you finally got some clear skies! Brilliant intro btw😀 Clear skies!
Thanks Simon. It's not exactly the greatest imager in the world but I learnt a lot while trying to find out about this bubble. I think it would better defined with more integration or imaged from darker skies but it is what it is. It was certainly bloody faint. I think 3 rigs is my limit to juggle. Glad you liked the intro - I thought it was time I was had one 😄.
Thanks Glenn. 5 rigs at once!! - my brain has to work overtime with just three. It's not a spectacular target but I' m getting a lot of enjoyment from capturing these little know and faint targets - just the weather makes it a struggle. I'm not really sure that there is another astro image of this bubble. CS
Love seeing these videos mate this one when close in reminds me more of a frog, imagine if the camera orientation caught the field wider rather than portrait
@@olly7248 Oh wow, that's crazy!. I don't think I would cope if that was the case here. We have had some atrocious weather since late last year but at least we have had the occasional clear-ish night to calm the soul and more recently have had quite a few clear nights. I really hope things turn around for you very soon. So I will wish you some clear skies.
Great video Logan, and superb final image, and welcome to the retirement club, assuming I heard correctly…👍🏻
Thanks Stewart. Yes you heard correctly and thank you for the warm welcome to the club😅.

Thanks Avanteesh. I agree with you about the learning which I feel gives more meaning to an image. Clear skies
Nicely done Logan!
Thanks very much Dave.
Super interesting video!! Great image.
Thanks Ernie, I'm glad you found it of some interest. I think the story behind some targets can be more rewarding than the image of the target itself.
I can definitely see the Crocs eye in there in fact you can kinda make out the jaw too. Nice target another new one I never knew of. Glad to see you got some clear skies. 👍
Thanks Ollie. It's not a glamorous target but it was a nice challenge. The weather is certainly giving me a few breaks now.
Great image again Logan the croc nebula I kinda like that.
Clear skies

great image and love the info. Croc eye bubble seems very fitting!

Great image Logan, love the intro😂. Clear Skies!
Thanks Luke. I thought it was about time I had an intro...... but not too serious 😅
Nice video dude!
Thanks Chester. TVNZ hasn't nabbed me for nicking their footage.... yet 😅.
Great video mate and image
Thanks, much appreciated. CS

Great work mate, love seeing these new targets. 3 rigs mate well done. 5 is my record....won't be doing it again lol

Thanks Nik. Haha yes this target is a bit like an ink blot pattern which is in the eye of the beholder. Clear skies.
Nicely done again Logan….👍🏻
Thanks very much Olly. CS
@@LogansAstro Still not a single night of Astro possible since February here, getting ridiculous 😐
