    Wow Logan! It’s only taken me a day and a half to watch your vid, what with work and stuff! (My birthday yesterday)😀 But I watched it end to end! Sorry to hear about your 2600mm🙁but as you said at least you’ve got Spain! What fantastic images, and great explanations about the targets! Love all that information, you put us Northern Hemisphere lot to shame🤣🤣 Amazing images with fantastic details! Not long till Star Stuff Logan! Not jealous at all🤣 Say hi to Dylan and Trevor for me🤣👍Wish I was going! Clear skies!

      Thanks Simon. Wow, a day and half... I didn't know my video was that long!🤣. Got acknowledgement from ZWO that they have received the camera so, fingers crossed, it will get fixed soon. I am really looking forward to Star Stuff - it will be my first astro conference. Oh, and Happy Birthday by the way 🎂.

    Party on... Excellent... you've been busy on both sides of the equator. your processing of M81 and M82 region is spectacular. Love the colors that you got with the Elephant. I always enjoy the information you provide about the target you shoot. Sad to here about the 2600, hopefully it will be back soon as good as new. The mermaid looked great too. CS

      Thanks dude. It's been busy covering both hemispheres. Hopefully the 2600 will be back in service soon. Until then, it'll have to be the Meade and the 533 here at home. CS

    Dear Lord!😮Logan, you are now at, or beyond, the 'master level' of image processing!👍Also, I love your choices of lesser-known subjects! (BTW...yes, it's a mermaid more than a beta fish). Kudos, and thanks for sharing your incredible work! 👍p.s. A real shame regarding your camera....but...perhaps a ZWO 2600mm-Duo in the works? 🙏

      Thanks Derek, that's very kind of you to say. I think the mermaid was my favourite of all those targets and I'm glad to see you are on team mermaid 😅👍. A 2600mm_Duo would be nice - hmmm you've got me thinking now (but not sure I'd get it passed Management at present 🤣).

    Great collection Logan. Spain has been a gold mine for you! Really love the colors on your Elephant shot.. especially the little bit of green :)

      Thanks James. Yes Spain is certainly helping to make up for the crappy weather here at present. I have also managed to setup NINA on that rig now so I don't have to deal with buggy SgPro. Haha I thought you might appreciate the touch of green.

    Excellent video Logan (and Bill & Ted ftw). Those images are fantastic, some of the best examples of those targets I have seen. Sorry to hear about your 2600, one of mine had to go back for the infamous oil leak issue.

    • @LogansAstro
      @LogansAstro  6 місяців тому +1

      Thanks very much Pete. Yes Bill and Ted are most excellent. Neither of my 2600s have had the infamous oil leak (hope I haven't spoken too soon) but I have no idea why this particular 2600 has suddenly stopped functioning given that it hasn't been moved from it's place in the obsy for well over a year. But fingers crossed it gets fixed soon and is back operational.

    Cracking images Logan & here's me thinking there was going to be a punchline after the title lol, sorry to hear about the 2600MM that really sucks mate hope it doesn't take to long to resolve.
    Clear skies

      Thanks Yich. Yeah sorry to disappoint with no punch line at the end 🤣. It was the first title that popped into my head so I ran with it. The camera has arrived at ZWO so hopefully they will get on to fixing it asap (fingers crossed). Clear skies.

    Great video Logan. Really great captures you have there with loads of integration time. Keep up the great work. Clear skies bud.

      Thanks Rob. I was lucky to get quite a few clear nights here at home a couple of months back and even thought the weather in Spain has been a bit cloudier than I had expected, there are still way more imaging nights over there compared to here. And now that I have managed to get NINA running happily on the Spain rig, things are running a lot more smoothly than it did with SGPro and all its bugs. Clear skies.

    Great video Logan, some beautiful images there, sorry to hear about the 2600 camera, but I guess with the remote rig your still able to image some cracking objects, as well as with your other rig you have at home…clear skies my friend..👍🏻

    • @LogansAstro
      @LogansAstro  6 місяців тому +1

      Thanks Stuart. Yeah, it's a pain but not the end of the world as I can spend a bit of time with the Meade and it's ASI533 while the 2600 is away here at home (assuming the clouds and rain move away for a bit). Weather conditions have improved somewhat in Spain now that's its summer so I'm trying to make the most of it. I've managed to convert the rig over from using SgPro to using NINA which has made a huge difference (omg SGPro is such a buggy program!). The interesting part has been working out how to get NINA to react appropriately with the weather safety software they are suing but I think I've got it sorted now. Clear skies to you too.

    • @Astro_Shed
      @Astro_Shed 6 місяців тому +1

      @@LogansAstro that must have been hard moving to NINA on a remote rig, did you need people over there to help with the install and swap over..?
      Yes I tried SGP and di nit like at all…

    • @LogansAstro
      @LogansAstro  6 місяців тому +1

      @@Astro_Shed No it wasn't an issue really. I was told I could download NINA if I wanted to and after the last SGPro hiccup, Grant from FLO that I rent the scope from, downloaded it for me. So then I just set about setting up all the hardware connections in the software and the advanced sequencer etc and was up and running on the first night with none of the SGPro glitches so it was like a breath of fresh air. The hardest part was working out the correct instructions etc for NINA to play nice with the safety monitor but I think I have that sorted now (so will probably make a video on that soon as I haven't found any videos on it out there).

    Ah shame to hear about the 2600 Logan, I hope this is not in my future! What a shame about those filters forcing you to buy more gear, does this mean another camera too ?? Those galaxies looked great and that Mermaid.

    • @LogansAstro
      @LogansAstro  6 місяців тому +1

      Thanks Ollie. Yep it's tough having to buy another filter wheel and some RGB filters to keep the SHO one company, hence the tiny violin playing🤣. I still have the ASI1600mm waiting to be used again although it's tempting to sell that camera and replace it with something newer, maybe another 533mm ( I really like that camera). The 2600mm crapping out after 3 years is a bit of a pain, especially since it hasn't moved for well over a year but it's not the end of the world as I have to Meade to image with in the obsy (if these bloody clouds would p^%s off). I've seen that the camera has arrived at ZWO so now it's just a waiting game to see how long it takes for them to get around to fixing it.

      @@LogansAstro Ye same issue with clouds here the Moon and the Sun has been the extent of my imaging lately.
