Why isn't the moral of the story to not sleep with women who you know you don't want to stay with? You're comparing yourself to a woman; if you get cheated on you won't throw a fit because you're a man... So you're expecting women to be like men because you grew up in a modern western country with feminism. All the women who can detach easily are just broken; the supply of sluts is dependent upon the supply of slut-makers.
Her eratic change in behavior is akin to your eratic change in behavior: making love for months or years and suddenly being over it. And you both ended up making each other feel the same; powerless and destroyed.

I think it’s because women don’t really care about the man they’re with. When she says she loves you, she really means she loves that being with you puts her above other women in her group. A good BF/husband is an accessory to a modern woman, just like her bag or her bad guy on the side.
Don’t be one of her accessories.

although we didn’t live together, I had a similar experience, fellas.
The moral of my story is when a woman starts acting crazy, start video recording.
When the police finally arrived, she had told them that I had kidnapped her and hit her. I was able to finally show the cops the video where she had did that to herself and threatened me, and they ended up taking her to 3-day suicide watch as a result.
Guys, If a girl ever acts like that, record her then press charges -and when you end up in the court room, do not go easy on her and drop those charges no matter how sweet she “acts” because if she’s doing this to you, she will def do this to somebody else who may very well be innocent also

At 60, I've lived a life full of experiences, traversing the world and doing more than most could imagine. But with all that life has shown me, the most profound lesson I've learned is that true love-real, deep, enduring love-takes time to grow. It’s not about superficial attractions like looks or passion; it’s about understanding, patience, and a connection that goes beyond the physical.
I've been with my partner for over 25 years, and every night, we still hold hands as we fall asleep. She knows me better than I know myself, and our love has grown into something pure and unwavering. We rarely focus on the physical, because our bond is rooted in something much deeper-an unspoken intimacy and an enduring love that only time and shared experiences can create.

Our sentiment encapsulates a modern perspective on relationships, where our focus is on mutual understanding, respect, and love rather than adhering to traditional legal frameworks. It reflects a strong sense of our individuality and confidence in the bond we share, highlighting that our connection is based on personal choice rather than societal expectations or financial necessity.

My last ex, about 5 years ago, made the exact same threat. I didn't take it seriously until the cops arrived at my house and told me I was under arrest.
Now luckily for me, and believe me I was freaked out, especially because I didn't even know what lie she had told them, but these 2 cops asked me for a verbal statement, one after another and then they compared notes on what I had told each of them about every event of that night and agreed that they both received the same story from me. They then went and did the same with my ex, and she couldn't tell them both the same story, but she kept attempting to make her story juicier to both of them, and they ultimately came back and told me it was more than obvious she was lying. The cops then told me to relax, keep ZERO contact of any form with her (which was pretty easy to do at that point!!), and they drove her to her parents house and told her that if she reached out to me directly or indirectly there could be charges against her. I never heard from her again, and I've felt so incredibly blessed.
It still do this day haunts me in so many ways of how it all could've unfolded, and also it disturbs me greatly that some women see this as an option to get back at someone when there are other women out there struggling to get away from actual abusers.

I ended up taking up the slack. S3x dried up as I wasn't attracted to her anymore as her personality changed.
Combative, argumentative and hella lazy. I hate laziness with a passion. I was her ATM.
I suggested she move out, back with her parents, and we'd go to therapy. She was out of the house so I changed the locks. We went to therapy (It's a scam don't do it... useless) I told her in the 2nd session, I want out. She went for half of everything so I made her a deal she couldn't refuse. Smartly she understood and took it without an argument. She knew I mean't business.
4 years later she reached out to me. I cut it short and told her to F off.
Don't move in with them. They lie, cheat and steal. They'll turn everyone you love against you and threaten to do some crazy stuff. All the while trying everything in their power to make you weaker. She turned lifelong friends against me and I let it slide. This is rock solid advice in 1700, in 1800, in 1900, in 2000, and in 2100. In fact it was unheard of for many reasons up until just a few decades ago. Maybe you are just plain ignorant. There are millions of men who go through this type of thing and I am one of them. Even if you have a great girlfriend and she comes from a church family and she prays every night and she makes 6 figures not being married to her could set up trouble for you. Laws as far as domestic violence go are totally in favor of women and laws on residency are in favor of renters.

Lived something similar, thanks you for sharing this. Was accused of rape by a girl I rejected, who was much younger than me. Got locked up in the police station and interrogated, police would not believe me that I rejected the girl because she is younger and rather attractive, and why she would do this. Until finally my dad could provide the camera footage from the residence where I live, and I could even provide video games logs that I was playing a game at the supposed time of the rape.
Spent like 15 hours in jail next to junkies who were screaming and banging their heads on the walls in the other cells, one woman was literally designing on her wall with her blood, all of this because of this girl lie. I'll never forget that.

This is exactly what I'm going through now. I met a girl last December, she came to my house where we shared the evening together. She then politely asked to come back the next 2 nights which I didn't see any harm in it for she was a sweet, soft spoken chick. Next thing I know she was obsessively clingy and weeks in would start bringing a few outfits for visits days at a time. Eventually after about a month I saw that we were on 2 different pages. I'm focused on improving my position in life wanting more, where as she was just looking for someone to latch on to with no aspirations or drive. She couldn't cook and constantly nagged the second she felt like I wasn't giving her time and attention. It got to the point where I'd tell her to leave. We would argue about the dumbest, least important things and I knew she wasn't the girl for me. When I would tell her to leave she always refused to willingly and told me that we were going to "figure" this out like a real couple would. Eventually I got fed up and threatened to call the police to remove her from my home because she literally wouldn't go no matter what I'd say and she told me she would tell them that I was abusive and I put my hands on her. 12 months later and I'm on misdemeanor probation for carrying her to the door and locking her out. They said because she was trying to fight to get back inside and I was "pushing" her that it was assault and I got a DV charge. The judge told me that no matter what the situation I CANNOT have contact with her since there was a no contact order. She was sitter in the pews as he was telling me this and she has continued to try to contact me. It's a sick joke.

Seems wrong to simultaneously discount their experiences while insulting them. Many women struggle to date, say there aren't many options.. this is one of those reasons. Men don't find as much benefit in a relationship with how they end up treated. Maybe society should just listen and hear them out. Try to understand where they are coming from as well. Obviously not all women are like this, but there are definitely those out there. I couldn't imagine being a man.. imagine being with a girl who lies about bc to trap them with a child as an example. Just because many men don't speak up about these issues, doesn't mean it is not affecting most of them. Social media, crumbling classes has added pressure to dating for men and women. We need to listen to these men. Many men in our lives most likely share these experiences.

The problem is less so whether people are "good" or "bad," but rather, who does the legal system unfairly give the advantage to, which is obviously women.
Men who marry and/or cohabitate should be aware that the legal system will not protect them, and statistically speaking, a man who marries/cohabitates is taking a massive risk.

One of the biggest challenges for men with modern women is; modern women are very good in camouflaging who they really are at the beginning of the relationship. The rule of thumb nowadays is; never rush into marrying a woman no matter how much she seem to be loving. Put her to test, delay marriage until you're convinced that she's the one to marry. She needs to prove that she's the one to marry.

Half way through the dinner, she got sauced on all the wine she was ordering. The conversation we were in went from nice, to combative and argumentative, because of her alcohol intake. She was creating a scene. I said I am done and I was going to leave. I started to get up and leave with out her, she grabbed my arm and told me to sit down and finish the conversation. I tugged it away from her, told her to find her own way home and I left. She lived only about 2 miles from the restaurant.
Because of the way she acted with alcohol, I was not going to take her home in her state of mind and be accused of anything, while she was a mad drunk. She could say anything, and I would have to defend myself. I will not be a victim. If anyone wants to put you and your reputation at risk, WALK AWAY. Do Not risk anything with a lady, a guy friend or anything else, when their state of mind can remember nothing, but accuse you of everything. Thank you for sharing. I feel bad for all your negative experiences with women. But, not every woman is a nightmare! We all attract certain people into our life. If you are suspicious, defensive, and non-trusting, you will attract exactly the same woman to come along. Perhaps take a time off for a while, relax, build self-security, and then see what sort of ppl appear in your life. The right woman will cherish and respect you, no matter what challenges life throws.

i started dating my wife @ 24. Just started a business and it was a rough go. now 12 years later we are married, Im in the best shape of my life, way more confident, making a great living, and I notice women eyeing me up sometimes. My wife on the other hand, went the complete opposite way. Gained tons of weight, doesnt care, unpleasant much of the time, refuses to eat better/exercise. I KNOW i could drop her in an instant and remain single, or score a top 15% woman 10 years younger than me. Its so hard to think about that and then come home to nagging. I do love my wife, shes been apart of my life for 13 years and is my family. I know she gave me her best years 18-30, and Now its my turn to give her my best years 35+ but its hard, esp when I know I could "trade up" as unfair as that sounds its very tempting.
I almost wish i would have waited till 40 to get married, gave myself a chance to realize my full potential/value before committing to a woman.

Men who agree with and respect women are the ones who haven't been laid, and they claim to love and respect women hoping it gets them laid, because deep down they see women solely as objects. I tried to leave the apartment, she tried to block me, I tried to leave anyway, and then she called the cops and accused me of hitting her and being threatening to her, when all I did was try to get out and get a time-out from her crazy and totally irrational screaming argument. The apartment was mine, I was paying for everything, and yea, you get the drift. Luckily when the police came, and they talked to us separately, the police officers came to me and told me that they could see nothing was done, and that she had over-reacted a hell of a lot. So they just left and told us to get counceling. That day changed everything. I still gave her a 2nd chance that lasted a long time, but could never ever trust her the same way ever again, cause she had shown me what crazy shit she would do just to get her way... Ever since, I would never consider getting married, I would never consider living with a woman without having proper contracts in place, and if I ever end up in a similar situation ever again, I will record the audio of the argument just to have some evidence in case I ever experience something like that again. Some of these women are batshit crazy, and they are really willing to play insane cards like this and use their position as the "weaker sex" to their advantage, and they are willing to totally destroy a mans career and reputation just to get their way. It's so disgusting, while at the same time they go out and preach about "girl power", empowering women, being a strong woman and so on in social media. It's disgusting to witness the double-standard and hypocrisy that some modern day women have. And sadly it took almost two years and a huge argument for this to reveal itself, so... Why dont u guys use the good old counter. "If u call the cops and i get charged, be sure that i will hunt u down in ur sleep". If that doesnt work u'll have nothing to lose since she already ruined ur life.

I had the exact same scenario play out for me, the girl I thought loved me and cared about me threated me with police reports and even went as far as to slander my name to her circle and even my circle. When I walked away from the relationship all this came out from the person I thought wanted the best for me.
