That truck was sleeping for a long time. You woke it up with the equivalent of a person being stuffed in a giant zip lock bag full of blow. Great build, well done 😂😂👏👏
This is the kind of stuff that all the “big media” channels used to be about, and have since jumped the shark! Keep doing these kind of videos. So awesome! 👏
You are definitely going to start a HUGE Trend- this may be the First SRT- Hellcat truck… but A BUNCH more will be built after watching this one be sooo Awesome!!!
To be fair, there are plenty of hellcat swapped trucks, I'm definitely not the first. This is just the first engine to come out of a Demon and go into one, but once you mod them, they're basically all the same anyway.
As a former SRT-10 Dodge Ram owner and a current Ram TRX owner, this video spoke to my heart! Now I very badly want to take my front DS off just to have this kind of fun. The long strips that beast planted into the tarmac was so satisfying.
I live ur videos. The way u film then and do them. Takes me back to 15 years ago when u would be home from school watching TRUCKS. Ain't spike tv. Even the way you talk. Hopefully you never change it. Great quality and amazing projects.
It would be cool and much cleaner if you find a way to use the OEM instrument cluster, there's must be some kind of "translator"/adapter on the market, and put the Holley screen somewhere else 😊
I dont even like car stuff. I drive thats it, but I still watch your videos on oil plugs and what ever, when you fix this truck.. You seem to be a great dude to be around, love it! Cant wait for the next upload! Cheers from Sweden!
Can i just say... I love the wrenching!!!!! Thats why i watch automotive youtube, to learn something about something ill maybe eventually do but most likely never will have to do.
Love all the build stuff you do but this, is on another level. Those rolling burnouts are epic. The long wheelbase and smoke show on the highway would put the biggest grin on my face. Awesome man, just awesome
I have a 2002 Dodge ram 1500 quad (this body style) that came with the 5.9 Magnum. A few years ago the factory computer died on me. It took me 4 months to find the correct replacement that would run the truck without other CANBUS conflicts. The company that provided the computer informed me that these computers fail and replacements are slim. I thought about doing this Hellcat swap or even a 392 swap before my computer dies again. The only difference is i want the swapped parts to integrate into the truck instead of integrating the truck to the swap by retaining the original dash, gauge cluster etc. this is an awesome build that's i may aren't in the future. My truck needs more power💪🏆
❤️🔥 My 5.9 still runs great For your set up, an old 6.1 out of a crashed SRT would be really cool. Swap in 4:56 gears, then tune it, and no one without a supercharger or turbo will be able to keep up.
@@BloodAlwaysFindsItsLevel my 5.9 runs good, but it's old and tired. I've built a Magnum based 408 (6.7) engine on an engine stand that's ready to go with forged internals, aluminum heads, a bigger cam and 9.5:1 compression. If my computer goes out again, i may use a Holley standalone to run things.
Excellent episode! I love that the truck is pretty much done. When Tim faked you out on the radiator pressure, I laughed louder than Fernando 😂 I love watching you work on vehicles. Thanks for a great channel!
Who needs botox when u can just watch these guys and have a huge grin on ur face trough out the entire video. Great job guys, looking forward to next video!
Great video, I like how you show the whole build process behind the machine. It's way more interesting than just buying stuff and making videos. The production quality is also perfect; we're shown the process, but the videos aren't overly long. Nice job on the truck! Can't wait for the next one
man that truck is killer ,cant wait to see more on this truck, also wow that boss mustang took a jell of a hit ,keep them coming always look forward to your videos
I got worried when it sounded like you were going to shelve this build because of the oil leak. I'm so glad you didn't. This is the only UA-cam channel I look forward to watching. Keep up the awesome content! 🫵👍🤘
The Dodge Ram service manual always stated the original spring clamps were for a one-time use only. We always replace them when we do a repair. But otherwise I freaking love the truck.
You should seriously try and make that truck really nice. See if you can swap any TrackHawk interior in it, modernize it a bit. Thing would be awesome.
I have a 06 SRT 10 QC with a manual valve body and hurst shifter and its almost as a fun as full stick shift. I can only imagine how fun this truck is with a demon engine. I still dont know why you would do this to a viper truck. Its still a beast. Good shit
The burnout right after refueling on the side of the road made me smile. I love this truck. Great video. Please do some donuts for me on the next video!
that IAT issue is pretty common when you have a sensor attached to the intake, or in this case directly on the supercharger housing. When i did my 2JZ i found that a lot of people recommend running it on the intercooler piping instead of the intake due to heatsoak. Not really sure how you could do that on a blower car but just figured id mention!
I was a little upset you got rid of the v10 because that’s what made the truck special but once i saw you lay stripes on the highway that went out the door this thing is badass
That truck looks so cool and fun to drive U should make it awd with optional rear wheel drive when u dont waba and engage. Deff try to make it awd or 4x4
love how this turned out but am shocked with the tools and some mechanical knowledge they have no one thought to smoke or pressure these the block. Glad it worked out non the less and hope they hold on to this truck
Those are the exact same tires I use on my 2005 Daytona edition RAM 1500. Toyo Proxies ST3. I am still on the factory 20 inch wheels though. 285/50r20 is the size I use in the Proxies ST3. Oh and to be clear they are only a V rated tire. Definitely not enough for that Hellcat setup. I think you want Y rated tires if you plan on really pushing it.
OK, it’s my honest opinion when you go under the hood that beautiful supercharger was perfect, but look at all that room side-by-side what I’m thinking is a twin turbo with a supercharger just a spice that up 24:30 and 17:57
That truck was sleeping for a long time. You woke it up with the equivalent of a person being stuffed in a giant zip lock bag full of blow. Great build, well done 😂😂👏👏

Somehow that describes it perfectly..

Boosted Motorsport has done a Dakota already.
And a 4th gen Ram @@412AutoCare
Boosted motor sport hell cat swapped a Dakota, a 4th gen single cab and he hemi swapped a 2nd gen ram but this guy here is dope too for his swap
I love everything about this truck except the shifter.
righttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
same and the fact that it only has 3 gears
Once we got the shifter adjusted properly, it's PERFECT and honestly it's one of the things that makes the truck fun to drive!

Dude, your team is the best youtubers for car content. I love goonzquad and TJ but you guys are top notch. Great stuff!
I appreciate that!
well done dude that is the most coolest mopar ever you should call it the the dodge ram srt demon

Everyone will see an SRT10, but they won't be aware of the deadly engine hidden behind the hood. Excellent construction.
You guys dominated this build man you built something Dodge wished they could have built back then.
That thing sounds so damn good. Nice job.
Really love what you did with the exhaust, very OEM+
