- After months of hard work, the 2007 Yamaha R6s rebuild finally comes to and end. From spilling fuel to slipping on WD40, an EXTREME amount of effort was put into rebuilding. Lots of coffee and ridiculous amounts of hours from day in to day out during weekdays and weekends, Papa Johns Pizza four times a week on average just so no unnecessary time is spent cooking. Keeping up with school while doing this was a well deserved challenge. The motorcycle had 72,000 miles on it and the engine took a beating and read low compression. So of course, I grabbed a load of tools and ripped everything apart to spec out every component. ENJOY!

All Fluids Flushed
Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2 (Front) 3 (Rear)
RK Chain, Steel Sprockets (Front 1 tooth down)

DID YOU DO THE 180 DEGREE TURN ON THE CRANK BOLT OR JUST SPEC TORQ? IM REBUILDING MINE NOW

How much was the cost?
Between $1700 - $2000 for everything. Go on Partzilla and buy parts off their if you are doing this, it will save u A LOT.

@@mambrake the 1700 - 2000 includes all i spent on the bike in the list in the description. The amount specifically on the engine was probably around 450 (i did this 2 years ago so i cant rmr thr exavt price). This was more for learning how to work on an engine which was totally worth the price as well as the satisfaction of doing so (this was my first rebuild). I also wanted the engine to be original.
