For someone who has never played Aphelios this champion looks like you need a PhD in League.
i believe its the lowest winrate adc, and i dont think its the weakest probably the most rewarding to one trick but im to insecure to try it out in ranked
If you check Lolalytics it has really bad wr on people playing it with Lethal tempo (like 44%) but people playing it with PTA or Fleet reaches like 49% which is not bad. Even conqueror has positive wr like 51%

as aphelios main i can approve. probably one of the best educational aphelios vids i have seen yet.
- super frustrating and hard match up
- behind teammates
- good itemization
- really good weapon utilization
- early game was soo godlike, staying calm in the heat of the moment, when everything crumbles and your team is falling apart while getting poked and ganked, real nice
Hey, quick question why not fleet footwork here instead of? Seems pretty good in this situation. Asking you cause cookie will probably not answer
@@macdac1922 good question. I can tell you from my experience, that fleet sustain won't cut it. You basically heal non from minions and you won't be able to hit ziggs and brand for free. The movespeed won't help you either. Therefore it's easier to go with the more versatile rune. Pta is by far his best keystone. It's easy to apply, provides good dmg (especially in early game, due to aphelios weak base dmg), and has great synergy with your mates. Lethal Tempo is also pretty good too, as he mentioned in his vid. But you sacrifice the early quite a bit.
His early game shows really the only way to play against heavy poke. He drops minions to prevent them from poking. Only walks up when their spells are on cooldown. His playstyle is really calm and level headed. Just watch your team go mental boom. If they want to fight, but you're not ready to - don't fight. He often takes the L and backs of when he's low hp or getting camped. Besides all that he also capitalized on his power spikes (most important one, blue, white, red - super cheese but huge play to break through the lane)
If you're having a hard time with poke lanes, try to keep the interactions in lane low. Spam your q to clear the wave and back as soon as you can without losing too much. The longer you stay in lane the harder it gets. Boots early help quite a bit too.

I am unironically climbing with help from this series. Used to be a top main and it always felt like botlane would lose the game, would get so close to silver promos just to have a loss after loss. Swapped to maining adc and I've finally made it to promos with an 88%+ winrate on Kaisa.

Wish there was a mage-counter type adc, kinda like galio/kassadin (at least the archetype) for mid.
Since silence is so rare in the game nowadays, could just give it to this adc.
Tristana is pretty alright. Even if she has no "anti mage" mechanic, she has really strong pick power onto them and her ulti and aoe damage makes it really hard to position properly and hit skill shots. She's also quite good at taking towers which makes it hard to stay safe on the immobile mages. As a mage player, she's the adc I'd rather not see, bot or mid.
Also, Galio is an underrated support. You can definitely ask if your support can play Galio. First timing him in ranked isn't reccomended, but especially if your support is off role from mid and knows how to play him, it's really good.
Active: Jax enters Evasion, a defensive stance, for 2 seconds, causing all non-  turret basic attacks against him to be dodged. Jax also takes 25% reduced damage from all champion area of effectabilities. Counter Strike can be recast after 1 second. At the end of the duration, Jax  stuns all nearby enemies for 1 second and deals physical damage to them, increased by 20% for each attack dodged, up to a 100% increase.
Minimum Physical Damage:55 / 80 / 105 / 130 / 155 (+ 50% bonus AD)Maximum Physical Damage:110 / 160 / 210 / 260 / 310 (+ 100% bonusAD)
Recast: Jax ends Counter Strike early.

White green is my favourite combo, just feels like way more damage and much more reliable for pushing objectives.
And one of the safest combos to play. You place turret and you can teamfight from miles ago!

Since Riot buffed W attack speed, is it worth it to go Q > W > E or is it still better Q > E > W? Maybe against squishy comp is better lethality E and against melee comp is better AS W?
i think E is almost always better. Imo atack speed isnt too important on aphelios, but raw damage means a lot. Im not challenger tho so what do i know xd

the most difficult part with aphelios for me is staying alone since he has no mobility and just everyone likes to face tank him, he rly can facetank people when he fullbuild hypercarrying

I tried aphelios, but i feel like unless you have severum chakram combo, you can't 1v1 enemy adcs. Other gun combinations feel clunky and slow to duel tristana or mf for example when they press 1 button and have double your attack speed. Very weird champ, i saw him in pro play killing stuff with flamethrower ulti, but that's about it. Flamethrower, chakram and severum are his only guns good to use, the rest is filler for laning phase. Maybe i'm wrong, low diamond btw.
Yeah Gravitum is dog shit and a huge burden to your rotation. The existence is just to clog up your rotation & block/prevent more consistent duo combo. You can't even spam it away without minions & camps.
Every gun is good, it just depends on the situation

Reality: Only use for laning phase when you don't have dmg yet. Mid game onward makes you a Clown Ashe with 550 range & no W, has the worst synergy with every guns compare to all other duos.
@@Rhyolite-hyena purple ult is rly good for catching groups of people out or stopping a disengage, early lvls take pta and punish overextension for easy trades, green and purple isnt highest dmg combo but it has crazy long range set up. Not every gun has to do high damage it’s for utility
@@MATT-lm2po If they clumped up and gravitum doesn't exist, the next gun - flamethrower would take a toll on them.
a GP E level of nuke is more consistent than something require immediate dmg or harder stun follow up (but wait if you're not the dmg, then which teammate?) (It's just a Root, so their battle mages, some bruisers & tanks won't mind that). You need many factors for it to works... while the flame can already cripple enemies survivability.
I will never mind trading the one trick Sniper Gravitum do early that the good players can play around, to have a Sniper Flame after turrets spams, not some cock block no dmg literally troll duos.
I'd call them out if a Aphel player say "gravitum'll work this time" then proceed to have Gravitum Flame in combat.

I just game game 16 hrs + a day trying to get more Lp if i can i dont care much about it though even if i would hit like 0/30 i know he was better and they scraed of my thats why they camped me so much :) but i give always my best like you do i never leave central zone of area on the lane if i not have tracked or knowledge where the jungler is always slow pushing helped me out any game

green white combo, why place turret and attack with green? whats the exact reason? youre telling me what to do but not why. is it simply because you have no effective way of stacking chakrams and because of this white auto attacks are just not worth it?
by doing this you are extra safe, you can auto with the extra range of green and proc the marks from turret from really long range toso nothing can really reach you

A couple patches ago Overheal got buffed and ADC mana stats were buffed as well. You don’t need Presence of Mind anymore.

what arethe cases when you go krakens on aph? only when they are super heavy tanks? as a main aph i sometimes have a headache thinking of what mythic to build
I’ve played a lot of him too, usually gale force with teams that are either pretty squishy or have important cool-downs to dodge (you’ll need to take ingenious hunter though in runes if you want go gale force to not get punished for using it incorrectly and the lower cool down just feels nice) kraken for tanky front to back fights and a little bit earlier of a dmg spike in the mid game and I rarely go shield bow mostly because if you rly want burst protection just go bone plating in secondary runes and the healing isn’t really needed because of over heal and Severum
90% times is galeforce, unless they have 2/3 heavy frontlines. Don't play shieldbow its bad mythic, its better allways to buy BT, even first item sometimes. And DONT PLAY LETHAL TEMPO its really bad 99% times, best runes are PTA or maybe Fleet if they have heavy poke lane. This game Fleet was good into Ziggs Brand, but PTA is optimal in most of cases because you prock it easy with any gun.
Conqueror has a really good wr tho (you can check at Lolalytics), but I gotta try it in normal games or smthing. I wish Cookie could answer our questions

@@lilRatzo if you hit people with red q it’ll mark everyone with your off hand weapon, which was calibrum, then he hit green q and targeted them with it, any minion that had a green stack on it all goes to the targeted guy and does more dmg

When Brand lands stun on you, there is a big chance that you die, and he will trying to do that alot.
cleansing summs, espec in any potential early 2v2 plus cleanse camille e, especially on sides in 1v1 - but it helps dissuade using the spells on aphelios
@@wasphoney5931 you dont know summs until in game, he is gambling that the adc doesnt go ghost and sup goes heal, in which case he has a sum that is completely worthless all game (he like never got hit by brand q)

He avoided shieldbow because it's very obvious to counter it with serpent's fang. He's trying to stay under the radar with his shield strategy so it doesn't get countered. By avoiding immortal shieldbow it discourages a noob from getting serpent's. But a pro would know what he's up to with resolve second tree and bt second item & maw. You see zed buying serpent's last item because he only caught onto the strat at the end lf the game and it was too late then.

@@astrid1342 You don't know what stomping is? The title is 100% clickbait. He didn't stomp anything. Not only did he lose lane, but his entire team was losing for most of the game. Scaling into the late game and having the enemy team throw is not "Stomping."
