One thing I've noticed seeing all these episodes and segments together is that every kidnapping, particularly of members of the gang, is hilarious. Like, just a ghost sprinting up and grabbing them while they're all just stood there
The fact that Cyclops was just casually standing near it without any sort of protection, and someone even straight picked it up with their bare hands is crazy too
You know, I was looking at that stunt driving one with the thought of “It’s a good thing Shaggy is a star race car driver apparently”, but now I’m just really overwhelmed with very dangerous people getting off lightly compared to guys who mostly scared a lot of people
I like how a good chuck of these sentences weren’t even life sentences and some dudes got over 200 plus years in jail. Plus I’m pretty sure that Ancient Astronaut episode was the inspiration for Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull
Kind of explains why Daphne seems more willing to believe in the supernatural if she was around for some of times Shaggy and Scooby actually did run into the real thing.
You know, a scooby doo show without Velma and Fred just sounds weird, and I honestly forgot that this version of Scooby doo existed. Shaggy, Daphne, Scooby, and Scrappy sound like a pretty interesting and strange combination.
IN the 'Scooby doo and cyclops, too' episode, I don't know for sure, but I feel like there has to be at least some law for knowingly exposing people to hazardous materials, which Uranium definitely qualifies
@@ripdalt Don't know, but considering he was having them mine with handtools without any protective gear, they would probably be constantly in contact with Uranium dust and debris from the mining, even if they weren't directly handling it.
For that matter, while I was trying to find the charges for exposing people to radioactive material (still struggling to find the penalties), I was reminded that Uranium is an extremely controlled substance by most governments, so the fact that they were running a Uranium mine at all without the proper clearance is a massive crime in of itself. Annother point, which you probably wouldn't be able to include because its conjecture on my part, but that would limit their potential buyers for their Uranium, since they couldn't sell it through legitimate channels, so there are probably some smuggling charges, and possibly even selling to criminal organisations.
If I remember correctly from someplace on the internet, uranium Ore itself isn't specifcally as deadly as regular old non ored uranium, so techincally it wouldn't be _as_ dangerous.....but probably still....
Wouldn’t stealing government secrets be considered espionage? IDK if this is the US or not, but pretty sure espionage does warrant the death penalty if it was.
Plus the second season (which is technically a separate series but is still the same) has two familiar faces but as guest stars and not series regulars.
I still think it's not the same without the full gang, but it is a definite improvement to go back to the actual formula. Always wondered why they had Daphne be Velma and Fred at once.
15:27 she would be in federal prison not Colorado state prison for the theft of government documents and unlawful entry of military base. 18:19 pretty sure they would have diplomatic immunity so they would just be expelled from the country to face trial in their home country. 20:15 dressing up as a ghost wouldn’t constitute identity theft.
Who thinks that the Phantom of the Soaps is one of the worst disguises ever worn by a Scooby doo villain? Like you can tell that it is him underneath all of that, all he got was a cape, a top hat, and an eye mask. I will give him credit for trying to hide his voice. Apart from his ring giving him away, he is wearing the same clothes and you can even see his hair in some shots. I know some of the others were ridiculous, but at least they were able to conceal their identities, whereas this soaps guy doesn’t even try. In fact now that I think about it, it just makes everyone look stupid, because they should easily be able to recognize him. This is primarily why I don’t like those who conceal their identities with a mask or cowl that covers the top part of their face but not their mouth, I mean with an eye mask you should be able to tell who is who. Hope you enjoyed my words, and have a wonderful day. -a message from just some random guy who comments.
@ exactly, at least the phony phantom from where are you actually tried to hide himself. This soaps guy makes the phony phantom look like the space kook in comparison. Well maybe not that high up.
Toby is a minor and is most likely going to get off a lot easier than that. being locked in juvenile detention centers until he turns 18 is more likely.
imagine going to prison and the other inmates finding out your sentence and you respond with *i menaced over 200 people*
you monster >:(
"And I was just trying to pirate video games..."
Yeah, you're not going to impress Icepick with that rap sheet
One thing I've noticed seeing all these episodes and segments together is that every kidnapping, particularly of members of the gang, is hilarious. Like, just a ghost sprinting up and grabbing them while they're all just stood there
my favorite is the kind where the fake door opens up and they just straight up get yoinked into oblivion
How are there multiple scooby villains trying to mine uranium?!
you gotta get in while the gettin's good!
That happened in What's New too, though the Uranium guy wasn't the villain of that episode 😂

@@Crush1084what was that one

i think shaggy is one of those people naturally good at everything, but had to be nerfed with crippling fear and anxiety. also good point lmao

inspiration for the BEST indiana jones movie??? PEAK (i am lying)
Honestly it's weird to see a cartoon consistently not portray uranium as glowing green. Props to the talking dog show for accuracy.
y'know i never really took note of that, good call! i just always assume "glowing" metal = bad
Kind of explains why Daphne seems more willing to believe in the supernatural if she was around for some of times Shaggy and Scooby actually did run into the real thing.
i mean, she's seen at least 13 ghosts

it's a lot of fun, daphne helps whip these boys back into shape :)
IN the 'Scooby doo and cyclops, too' episode, I don't know for sure, but I feel like there has to be at least some law for knowingly exposing people to hazardous materials, which Uranium definitely qualifies
oooh that's a good point, i wonder if it would just be exposure, or if you actually have to come into contact with it

Reckless endangerment, maybe?

it definitely would be, but i wouldn't do the death penalty :)

idk what he's trippin about, worcestershire kinda good
@@ripdalt i wouldn't know i never had it myself

The series is like the same like the last one, but at least one of the scooby doo member is back lol
and it's the best one! :)
When/if you cover 13 ghosts could you count up all the crimes committed by the 2 little shit ghosts that reappear through the show?
that would be epic
i mean i suppose i could..... (i did and they go away forever and then some :) )
Bogel: Round Bastard.
Werd: Skinny Bastard.
Another bizarre set of Scooby Doo episodes, but a lot of fun. Thank you for another good video dalt! Can't wait for 13 Ghosts!
i'm glad you enjoyed! 13 ghosts coming very soon :)
Scooby-Doo series had a weird fascination with gorilla monsters
i think every iteration has one giant monkey at some point (which, i'm not complaining lmao)
@@ripdalt Eh, they are simplistic designs that are easy to use for a filler episode.
Way better than last video sense this series back to original formula
absolutely agree, way more fun :)

it's definitely a lot better than the previous one, pretty much because daphne is the best :) plus spies!
This is where I think Scrappy improves as a character compared to his debut.
i don't even think his debut was all too bad, but the series before this one is another story...
@@ripdalt Good point, I guess I just prefer Don Messick over his original voice actor Lennie Weinrib.

quite enjoy the mixture of james bond villains and real monsters in this show
i'm a sucker for anything even slightly bond adjacent, so this was pretty cool
Please do every Scooby-Doo movie after all the shows. Would love to see how much people get in jail from all the different Scooby-Doo movie.
i can do that! :)
In the case of that spy, you forgot to add a charge of espionage
yeah that's a good point lmao

oopsies lmao, then you'll love the sentence!
0:41 Pretty sure the punishment for stealing a "military submarine" is going to be a lot worse than a 6 year Grand Theft charge
maybe!
So if the next one is 13 Ghosts I have to wonder, is their release from the Chest at the start considered a jailbreak or not?
y'know that would've been smart, but no i didn't consider that as escaping prison
