Fun fact: the actor and actress playing Nick and Juliette, respectively, are married in real life. I could be wrong, but I think they met and fell in love while playing this couple on tv.

They had met working together on a previous project, but did indeed fall in love while on this show. They are married and have daughter.
Apparently, he auditioned for Clark Kent Superman in Man of Steel, she is currently Lois Lane in Superman and Lois.

Underreted show I hope more people find about this show
I hope you stick with it. Grimm never quite hit the levels of Buffy or Supernatural IMO, but it was still solid, and well above and beyond most of the shows in the genre.
I am so happy right now, been waiting years for someone to react to this show, hope you like it and stick with it, it maybe slow at first but once it gets it's bearings and lore down, it becomes an awesome and really unique show.

I have been waiting years for someone to finally do a reaction series to this. Just wait pretty soon you will be learning a whole new vocabulary between the different creatures and what all they can do.
Looking forward to rewatching this, its very underrated and often overlooked by reactors.
*Only Grimms can see the creatures in their true form
*Marie is Nick's aunt not his stepmom. She has terminal cancer and knows she doesnt have long to live so has come to tell Nick about the family secret (and more that will be revealed as the show goes on)
*Not all the creatures are wolves... theres a whole variety. be prepared for some hard to pronounce names
*Think more of Brothers Grimm fairytales and less Grim Reaper

This "supernatural Police Procedural" hooked me from the first episode. Monroe the Blutbad was an instant like, due to this life and culture choices. Unlike other Wesen, he was only mildly put out by Detective Burkhardt, the "I-didn't-know-I'm-a-Grimm" character. He was even more interesting as a VW Bug owner and love of German craftsmanship.
This is such a great show. 6 seasons and you're on the first episode. You are in for a ride.

It's one of the most underrated series in Amazon Prime
the thing about this show is that its first season is like series like supernatural.... introducing different monsters (wesens for this matter) each episode. so first when i watched it i skipped a lot of parts of 2 season. my teacher introduced this series to me and he kept saying it will get so much better after s3 and he was RIGHT!!!!!!
it gets sooo much better. after finishing s3 i went back and watched all 3 seasons again and finished all 6seasons in one week. i was dying to sleep but it totally worth it!
i plan to watch it again this summer
oh and btw....the CGI is not good. but if you get used to it, you will really enjoy the story. it is so well written.

hell yea finally someone reacting to grimm, my favorite show of all time. Espacially after season 1
I used to watch this with my papa and I still do
3 things wrong with this episode. Monroe's mailman deliberately led them to Monrow's house which would get Monrow to rat out his mailman. Nick found out that he has time to find the girl and builds his case against the mailman confirming that the mailman came in late the day the woman was killed and left work early the day the girl was taken. Nick's aunt gives nick the key in the ambulance on the way to the hospital before passing out and Nick opens it up in the ambulance. Nick's captain goes to see Nick at the hospital with Adalind and sees Nick before Nick sees her and alerts Nick's captain that Nick is a Grimm before the captain tells her to leave since Nick has already seen her. I would also have Adalind being the first Vessen that Nick sees have relevance later on in the series.
a lot of people doesn't watch this. but all people who finish this show, fall in love with it. T_T

How many brothers are there? I just knew of the 3. :) I was pulled into this show by the concept. Hopefully you've got some knowledge of Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales although you don't have to have that knowledge to enjoy the show. I like how they bring the fairy tales to the real world. The girls represented Little Red Riding Hood (not the exact story but that's what's eluded to). Blutbad means blood bath in German but yes, they are wolf like creatures.

Also maybe the classical TIME TUNNEL series and the REBOOT of 2002 - they are easy to get and not really expensive if you look out for used copies of the full set; then SLEEPY HOLLOW, okay that is a touch elder but I like your perspective it is downreight honnest, insightfull, intelligent and fun to watch. So even others have done it to I would get a kick out of you doing it.

4:21 When the show came out in Germany there was a lot of talk what the still existing Grimm -family would be thinking about.
In some interviews in Germany they stated that they were amused about the show as the rest of us :)
Just to the series to mention even though the developers had claimed to follow the GRIMM - KINDER und HAUSMÄRCHEN the script writers actually have used mostly the classical British - American follklore and some more international ones like from the Philipines were the actor playing the Police Sergeant Regie Lee comes from.
Same with the quotes in the beginning of evey episode that is a mix of quotes out of books from well known British and American authors mostly making to be sound as if the Brothers Grimm had written them
TO THE GRIMM FAMILY they really are not from the Blackforest but frome Kassel in the German State of Hesse. ( German HESSEN ), the Protestant part of Hesse by the way, not the Catholic one.
And there were not just two but three brothers and a sister involved.
Two of the brothers became lawyers and worked also as Scientists for German Literature and Language.
The Third brother became an artist and did most of the cartoons and drawings for the original fairy tale collections
It is not shure what the sister did but newer studies showed seh also was involved in collecting and lectoring all those fairy tales the people from all over Germany and Austria had send in to the Grimms for their Collection
Also the Grimms did one of the First National German Dictionaries but it never became taken up officially because of their pro-Republican ideas . So Professor Duden had been hired after the founding of the GERMAN EMPIRE to write an official national German Dictionary.
In fact the Grimm fairy tales are devided in TWO different books.
1) THE commenly konwn CHILDREN FAIRY TALES
2) THE HOUSE FAIRY TALES for a XXX - mature audience
Especially from the late 19th century on almost all copies of their books became zensored, either out of political reasons or because of the mature content of some of their published stories.
So you just find the REAL GRIMM stories in so called SCIENTIFICAL EDITIONS in University Libriaries

I believe Grimm has a harder time being reacted to. Sad since this is such a great show.
There seem to be a lot of clips on UA-cam, but for some reason, they are not letting the reactors post.
I've watched it multiple times myself.
I really think the shows are shooting themselves in the foot. I never watch a reactor unless I have seen the show. If they were smart they would either create a premade list of scenes you are allowed to show, or set it up so that you can react while it is connected to the actual show. This show's on Amazon in the US, so people could watch it in real-time using their subscription, and it could link up and connect so that the time works.
Don't give up on this show.
