If you're doing a maceration, don't forget you can partially fill your thumper jars with some of the macerated liquid with the botanical and run your vapor through it to get more flavors in the final product.
I never really cared for Gin, but I think with the hops in it, I'm going to give it a try tks for the recipe and great video keep doing the great videos.
Brother, you are set for the rest of the scorching summer for some refreshing gin and tonics. I think I'm a little jealous. BTW the word you were looking for was macerate.
Got me all enthused to do a gin run now. Thank you for the inspiration. Moving forward in your future videos I notice you do this constantly lol when you taste things you just say tastes good or bad could you try describing the flavors that are coming through like you put the citrus in the vapor path to make it citrus forward. . . out of the 3 citrus fruits you used does one stand out more than the other? We don't know cos you didn't tell us lol. How about the hops how noticeable was it? Would you add it again or try different hops given the flavour it added? We don't know you didn't tell us what flavour profiles it added 😅
@stillworksandbrewing awesome keep it up man I do enjoy your content and you do inspire me to make runs when I'm feeling lazy about it. So thank you for the time and effort you put into making these videos. 👍
This is what I do and What I have seen most the distillers do after they soak their botanicals including juniper berries in their alcohol for 48 hours they will throw all of it in the steel including all the ingredients and you will get a very intense Flavor but you do whatever you want to do it’s your show. I have never had any trouble with scorching my ingredients doing it this way. All I have is an old reflect steal nothing special it looks a lot like yours.
Best of you let it sit in a bulk jar for a few weeks let it meld all of the chemicals and flavours most especially after you have just shocked it with large amounts of water and oxygen. The final flavour can’t be realised until at least two weeks from my experience.

Are you using a 240 VAC or 120 VAC heating element/power supply?
120 volt that all i got in brew house
Ha mate with addition of butterfly pea it adds a deferent dimension to the mix and when you add a mixer it changes color 😀
cool idea thanks
Have you ever combined different masehes in a run , does it make a difference than mashing together?

I saw the pill bottles and thought this man was going to add some medical grade cannabis into gin 😂
