So nice to see you Kris! You’ve been missed. I’ve been kind of in the same boat; what do I do with my free time now that our kids are grown? I’m reading a book that came highly recommended. “The 60-Something Crisis.” I was assured that I didn’t need to be 60 to get something out of the book. I have just started reading it, so I can’t tell you if it’s helpful or not. But, it’s geared toward women like us (trying to figure out how to spend the rest of our life). 💕
Sure have missed seeing your pretty face, welcome back. I was very happy with everything in my box except for that Danessa lightwork pallet, I’m 70 and don’t use shadows like that and don’t really care for that brand. Hoping I can trade with someone for something I don’t have. ❤
If you’re interested, I have the Anastasia, Beverly Hills Nouveau palette duplicate from a subscription box, and would be interested in trading for your light work palette.
I came here for the beauty content but was pulled in by your empty nest talk. My kids are only in elementary school so I have a long time before they are gone. But I am thinking about what I would do with myself once my kids are out of the house, and honestly I don’t know.
Hi Kris! Love watching you. I am 54 as well and also have a senior who just applied for colleges 😎one more still in high school but I can relate to all of your changes! Did you figure out what was irritating your skin?
Hi Amy, thank you so much! No, I never did figure out what was irritating my skin. My best guess is it’s just something with fluctuating hormones being menopausal. My aesthetician had no ideas either. 💕
Oh, yes, I can relate to that too! 2:34 Well, it looks great now. I sometimes get dermatitis from sulfates in face washes/shampoos but you've probably already considered that💕
Hi Amy - I cut my skincare regime back to only products I'd used for years. I gave that a week, then I dropped trentinion. When that didn't help, I switched to only using VaniCream products. It took almost 3 months for my skin to return to somewhat normal. My throat is still way more sensitive than it ever was.
Interesting box. It's been fun seeing what everyone is getting!

Would you consider a trade for your danessa myricks palette with my Natasha Denona my dream palette- mine is a duplicate as well
I wasn’t impressed with the box but you look gorgeous and your lipstick I just love!
Thank you, Dawn!!! 💖
I love your lipstick and watch band. Where can I find them. Thanks!
My lip is Buxom Plumping Lip Polish in shade Gabby. My watchband is from Apple, but you can find knock offs on Amazon. 💖

You have a lot of time! Enjoy your kiddos 💕I’ll be doing more content on my empty nest journey.
👏👍
Why don’t you do panning projects with the makeup you already have?

@KrisOver50 same thing happening to me. I'm breaking out like a teenager. Plus sensitivity and irritation. :(
Are your oldest twins? You referred to your oldest as them.
Probably the child’s preferred pronoun
