How to Knit: Eyelet Lace Stitch | Easy Lace Knitting Pattern for Beginners

This tutorial gives you a brief introduction to lace knitting for beginners, and then walks you through the steps of knitting the eyelet lace stitch.
You only need to know how to do knit stitches, purl stitches, yarn overs and k2togs in order to follow this pattern, so it's a really easy lace knitting design to start with.

So nice and easy but the stitch should be even or odd please

Cast on a multiple of 3, plus 2 stitches...so it could be odd or even :)
