You made me literally laugh out loud this morning with, “Winning at life, but also kind of losing.” Every mom I know feels this way most of the time. Thanks for keeping it real!
Agree, the only way she could get more efficient is to convert to one pan cooking. Get one frypan to just put into the oven for the casserole. And use the stainless steel stockpot to brown the taco mince instead of starting in a frypan. Saves a few minutes transferring pots and less to clean up.

Hi! Cheering you on from afar! You’ve got this! I’d also like to recommend the book “How to Keep House While Drowning”-I listened to the audiobook-by K.C. Davis, LPC. That book helped me so much with tools to keep things going when my capacity is limited, all provided in such a supportive, nonjudgmental way. The author also has a podcast
32 weeks and I feel this to my core! Everything hurts all the time, I’m super tired, the nausea never went away, and cooking is the LAST thing I want to do when I get home from work.
Secret NEVER burn it again tip . . . Turn your broiler on to preheat it with the rack near the top of the oven! When you put the buns in TURN THE BROILER OFF!! 🎉🎉perfect every time!!
If you are feeling really lazy you can get one of those salad in a bags (the kind with dressing and toppings) and mix those up with your chicken in a wrap. I really enjoy the Greek and Thai versions.
A couple things 5 ingredient cookbooks are a god send for easy meals. It's typically 5 fresh ingredients along with stock pantry items. But, it makes the meal planning process super easy. Also, often times, it's best to just use frozen vegetables. One of my favorite dishes is a frozen stir fry kit, a sauce, some sort of protein, beef, tofu or chicken are good and just fry that up with a bit of oil.
We tried the chicken panini, I made it for breakfast today. I added some avocado and salad leaves and it looked like a very expensive fancy-shmancy store bought posh sandwich. It has become my daughter's new favourite instantly. Thank you. 😘😘
A gas stove is great for living in hurricane territory. When there is no electricity we are still cook and heat water to wash up. Generators are great to keep frigs cool and to run air conditioning but the gas helps not put any more pressure on the generator.
We only have electric and when Helene hit we were without power for three days. It would definitely be easier with gas. We couldn't cook anything, had to eat vegetables, fruits and cookies the entire time.
Without global heating there wouldn't be so many hurricanes. So reduce your carbon footprint! You can have a gas burner for emergencies like hurricane season but you should have electric for everyday use. And you need renewable energy instead of carbon based. Put solar panels on your roof!
@@allalala9916 Well, do a little research on the production and disposal of fossil and nuclear power plants plus the carbon footprint during their life span before you reject solar panels.
@@henriettelinkshanderin1449 I did, that's why I reject them. Lithium mining is not pretty. Also, our neighbors have solar panels and they did not work during the blackout.
I decided on induction when we replaced our electric. Faster than gas, easy to control the heat and so easy to clean like an electric glass cooktop. It boils water in a pan faster than an electric kettle and won’t turn on if there is no pan on the burner. If you leave a pan on and it gets too hot, like hot enough to damage or cause a fire, it will turn off. Great for absentminded, elderly or ADD, like me. Haven’t had a mishap since owning it.
@sherrymccain8322@@Caseyd1966 I've never used an induction stove. Sounds interesting. When you take a hot pot off of the stove, is the stove top hot? Would it melt a plastic container or utensil?
@@Hearts4Door The glass is still warm, but the burner will not heat up without something magnetic on it (and large enough for the burner to register, like a pot). I wouldn't put plastic on immediately, but easily within 5 minutes it would be fine. One of my favorite tricks with induction when frying is to put a sheet of newspaper down, then the pot. The current goes through the paper, won't heat it up enough to burn or anything, and super easy clean up afterwards, just toss the paper. You do need pots that are induction capable though, easy way to check is if a magnet will stick to them they will work. But glass pots and thin aluminum only ones won't. You also need to make sure the pot is the right size for the burner, you can't just put a small pot on a large burner, it won't pick up enough surface area and the burner will turn off. This also means that unless a pot is on the stove, you can't even turn the burner on; super handy safety feature for when you (or kids) accidentally hit the knobs. But as said, induction is super responsive, boils quickly, changes temperature quickly if you need to turn it down. I love to cook and have used coil electric, glass top electric, gas, and induction and induction is by far my favorite. If you're on the fence, you can always get a stand alone induction burner, that's what we started with to see if I liked it. Just be aware that while they will give you some idea of how induction works, they are lower quality so make more noise than a full range will. The single burner is also handy to have around for an extra burner on Thanksgiving. 😅
Gas cooking all the way! I changed from electric range to gas after two winters in Maine where we lost our electricity multiple times. Having a gas stove allows us to cook, bake and stay much warmer. I turn my oven on if the lights start flickering, because it has an electric start, but once started it stays on. I even have a vintage percolator so we can make coffee as well. Getting a whole house generator was not in the budget. As far as cooking with gas, it is instantly controllable up or down. This works for us. I love your channel. You make me laugh all the time. ❤
I'm a fan of gas for the hob and oven! I can control the flame and the oven doesn't have the hot spots. My other favorite thing with rotisserie chicken is to save the carcass and make my own stock- I use whatever veg scraps I have and control the salt and seasonings. When done, it goes in the freezer and i always have stock when I need it.
Cass, just a tip re the soup: please take a look inside the neck of the liquid chicken bouillon bottle. A while ago I was disgusted when something caught my eye. Mold can form very quickly inside the top of those bottles and unless you’re looking for it, you won’t see it. It freaked me out so I now use the better than bouillon and keep it refrigerated.
I was literally in the process of putting together a list of low effort meals I can make even when adhd+depression is kicking my butt and I don't feel like I can do anything. So this is great! And the energy you bring to your videos always galvanizes me and gets me moving again.
Here’s a selection of "effortless" family meals, perfect for quick, nourishing, and easy-to-make dishes: 1. Pasta with Pesto or Cream Sauce: Just toss cooked pasta with pesto or cream, and optionally add ham or bacon bits. 2. Quick Quiche: Use a pie crust, add bacon bits, cheese, and a mixture of cream or milk with eggs. Great for using leftover veggies! 3. Loaded Omelet: Add vegetables, cheese, or leftover meat for a simple, quick meal. 4. Rice Salad: Mix cooked rice with veggies, tuna, hard-boiled eggs, and a vinaigrette. 5. Express Roast Chicken: Roast chicken with potato wedges in the oven with some oil and herbs. 6. Easy Wraps or Tortillas: Fill with leftover meat or fish, fresh veggies, and a sauce (yogurt, mayo) for a fun, quick meal. 7. Pasta Gratin: Mix cooked pasta with cream, cheese, and leftover meat or veggies, then bake until golden. 8. Grilled Cheese or Ham and Cheese Sandwiches: Cook in the oven or on the stove with ham, cheese, and a little béchamel or cream for extra softness. 9. Sausage and Mashed Potatoes: Serve grilled sausages with mashed potatoes (instant or homemade) for a quick meal. 10. Quick Homemade Pizza: Use a ready-made dough, top with tomato sauce, cheese, and whatever’s in the fridge. 11. No-Stir Risotto: Cook rice with vegetable or chicken broth and chunks of veggies-no stirring needed. 12. Tomato and Cheese Tart: Spread mustard on a pie crust, add sliced tomatoes and cheese, and bake. 13. Fried Rice: A fast dish with leftover veggies, ham, or eggs that’s easy to customize. 14. Quick Blended Soup: Blend cooked veggies with cream or milk and season. Serve with croutons for extra crunch. 15. Meatballs and Pasta: Cook frozen or homemade meatballs, then serve with pasta and a bit of tomato sauce. These dishes are simple, require minimal prep, and are perfect for quick, enjoyable family meals.
@@elis_flGreat ideas! For grill cheese, you can also do them as grilled cheese pizzas instead, for something different. We love them. Also, for your pizza, you can also get the $1 french bread from walmart or similar store and turn it into french bread pizzas. We reallly love these. It is also delicious to add a little bit of pesto with the pizza sauce.
Gas all the way!! I didn’t have a gas stove and the apartment we rented had one so it was a learning curve but everything heats up so fast. I am a bit freaked out about starting things on fire. My rule is to not put anything in or on it that would melt or start on fire. This keeps us safe 😊
It’s not laziness it’s a time saver to cook more than one meal at the same time! It’s hard to cook everyday when we are SUPER busy. I do this every week!
We made the chicken and dumpling soup tonight (1/20/25) but I used the leftover turkey meat that I froze from Christmas and my seasoning I noticed only added salt and pepper but time and rosemary☺️ and I added the soup over a bed of rice and let me tell you😊 it was soo 😋 delicious. Thank you clutterbug for this recipe. It was soo good for this freezing cold night here in Atlanta,ga
We purchased a gas stove when we got married love it!!! Had to use an electric glass top stove for 10 years when we moved to a different home . I burned lots of food . Was so happy when we remodeled and replace electric stove with gas!!
Thanks for all the recipe tips. Even though we're on a homestead and I make most meals from meat and veg we grow ourselves, your ideas for using the leftovers were very inspiring. The Instapot is my best friend. I pop a whole frozen homestead chicken in there with lots of water, salt, peppercorns, and a splash of ACV. I can turn it on for 1 hour during peak solar, and get plenty of stock. Meanwhile, I prep the vegetables. When the pressure releases, I pull out the chicken and put in the vegetables and maybe some barley, rice, beans, or pasta. While those come to pressure, I debone the bird. The timing works out well: by the time I finish deboning, it's time to stir the meat back into the pot and serve. We live in an RV and kitchen fires are the stuff of nightmares. With the instapot I can walk away from the kitchen without fear❤❤❤

I'm so grateful for the 30 day challenge.I still have a long way to go but I can have the electric workers in tomorrow without feeling ashamed.thank you THANKYOU! Broken but healing butterfly.x😊❤
Oooh!!! Thank God!!! My prayers have been answered!!!! Plus MORE were answered while I waa watching!!! You could also make more taco meat & sub for the panini with just cheese & chipotle mayo for frying, use it to make the pizzas, & for the quesadilla to create more options! I NEVER would have thought of those ideas! I've been struggling MASSIVELY with this!!! THANK YOU!!! I'm IMMENSELY GRATEFUL that God Blessed me with finding your channel!!!!!
These are great!! Another great pizza meal is to use the frozen Texas toast garlic bread!! I put sauce, cheese and pepperoni on the bread (frozen) and cook according to the box. It’s usually just 6-8 minutes! Garlicy and buttery. So good! Here’s another mean idea: French dip sandwiches! I do a can of French onion soup, warm on stove. Add some deli roast beef to the soup to warm it. Lay roast beef and provolone onto a hoagie and toast in the oven to melt the cheese. Put the French onion soup into little bowls to dip your sandwiches in. Huge hit at my house!
I had to get an induction stove for my house -- although I LOVE cooking with gas -- because of my ADHD, my kids' ADHD, and my mother can't hear the gas stove 'clicks' to hear if it's on or not. She'll love having a new stove no matter what it is. The other reason I LOVE having an induction stove is that my kids and mother forget that the burner would still be hot, throw a dishtowel on the stove, whatever.... with induction there is no heat immediately after you turn off the burner plus there is the added bonus of no exposed heater coils inside the oven. Sounds like it might be an option for you, too, Cas 🤗
Love the electric stove for us (also 2 ADHD adults, the 2 kids are not going through anything to diagnose them, they're 4 and 7 years old). I love it because it has the 'lock' function, you know, the little key you have to press for a while to lock and unlock the stove. We've really got that habit down to use that! Also for the cat!
As an ADHDer non-cook, I am beyond grateful for this video! I’m going to try a few of these! Feeding myself is always a challenge. I’ve recently bought a few small appliances to make cooking for myself easier and safer. I’m forbidden from stovetop use due to fires and burnt up pans. A small electric skillet, air fryer & egg boiler are key components. I love boiled eggs but had several stovetop disasters [note to self: repaint that cabinet door before moving out]. I even bought a little $10 electric chopper at Aldi that’s reduced prep time to a fraction of knife chopping.
Induction is the safest. It may mean your mum will have to buy new saucepans but it is worth it. No element or flame to accidentally set a tea towel alight. More economical too.
A tip for cutting onions that I haven't heard anywhere else....a small fan to blow the vapors away from your eyes rather than letting them go straight up to your eyes. We got a small fan to set beside our kids food to help us cool it faster without having to huff and puff all over it and that works so good. One day my hubby had the bright idea to set that fan beside the onion while he was chopping and it worked amazingly!! No more tears!!
I have been using this hack to not cry when cutting onions and that is: when you cut off the end, rinse the cut end of the onion under water immediately, then cut as usual. I do this all the time and rarely ever have eyeball-waterworks. Apparently the reason is the oil that causes the burning is concentrated at the ends of the onion. I mean, it works for me 🤷.
I’m totally electric! I’ve had gas stoves in two different houses and just don’t like dealing with the flames because, well, they’re REAL flames, like real fire!!! No thank you. I have an induction oven now and love it so much. I highly recommend it. Love you and thanks for such a great video! The recipes ALL look delicious and I’ll be making each and every one! 🥰😍💓
Your chili is virtually the same to my MIL's taco soup, which is always a winner in our house. Also, I am really impressed that you made all of this without getting anything on your shirt. My ADHD comes with a side of mild dyspraxia, which means I am usually wearing part of the meal by the time I have cooked it.
@Carolyn-qd8mj I love that idea! I will often drape a towel over my chest when I am eating, when I am consciously trying to avoid spots. Otherwise, I have a large supply of stain remover pens stashed all around the house.
@@Carolyn-qd8mj I love my apron. I wear it while washing dishes to keep from getting that wet spot on my stomach. While cooking, you can wipe your messy fingers on it. Everyone needs an apron.
My quick soup. Broth (the box or the liquid or whatever and a bag of frozen Asian potstickers. A bit of sesame oil and splash of rice vinegar if desired. Cook until dumplings are heated through and you have a nice easy filling soup in minutes!
This! I love the trader Joe's Ginger Miso broth with the frozen potsticker/dumplings. I spruce it up with condiments too aometimes I'll add veggies. So easy and yum!
This is so much like my invention of cheesy pumpkin dumplings, just sub a can of pumpkin puree instead of milk, and add 1-2 cups shredded cheese to the dry flour part and it's my dumplings I make every Autumn!
Another super quick meal my husband loves is what we call B&G Bake it is 2packs of ground sausage brown then drain then add in 2 blocks of cream cheese mix til combined then in a casserole dish roll out 1pack of crescent rolls on bottom of sprayed dish then fill sausage mixture in the middle and then top with another roll of crescent rolls bake til browned on top
Ms. Clutterbug, if I may make a couple of suggestions 😉 Your chili idea is innovative and I love the addition of the corn. Try adding some elbow noodles to it! In our house we call that “goulash”. I like the idea of using the chili for quesadillas! Here, at a local fast food place, they take your chili, add Frito’s and shredded cheese, roll it into a burrito and it’s a Frito Burrito! Yummy! Your kiddo’s will love it! Much Love, from Texas 😊
I make quesadillas in the oven too, but since i have a family of 7, i cover the sheet pan with tortillas, overlapping, cover with fried onions and peppers and ground beef and cheese. Then i cover with another layer of tortillas with the edges of the bottom ones folded up around the sides under the top ones. I bake with another sheet pan on top to give some weight and make the top crispy. Fast and delicious!
Love this video! Love love love. Thank you for easy quick meals for someone living alone. Pantry meals? Can freeze the leftovers? Perfect. I follow you for your decluttering vids, but I adore cooking videos too. 🥰
Thanks for the great ideas Cass! When I cook extra ground beef, I cool off the extra and then put it in freezer bags in meal size portions. It keeps in the freezer for a few weeks, and it's a quick start to a meat sauce, chili, tacos, etc. Sometimes I'll purposely cook several pounds at once as part of a mini meal prep.
Induction cooktops are the best! They heat up quickly and are easy to clean. They are also safer. (Only challenge is to make sure you have induction compatible cookware. It’s worth the cost to switch out your pans.) Love all your cooking ideas!
Love the recipies!!!! Can't wait to do them!! As for gas vs electric....Gas hands down! Yes, there have been some mishaps here too...but nothing to bad! Thank you for your inspiration that you give us decluttering to cooking and then some 😊
You reminded me of a soup my GRANDMOM used to make she used to make noodle soup (Sometimes Lipton packets of noodle soup) And she would crack a bunch of eggs into the soup , the egg is so good . The way the whole egg cooks ,you get the whole yoke n the white too . Thank you for the ideas
I’m coming back to this video to say thank you! I’ve never bought a rotisserie chicken and it saved me so much time with this week’s recipes. Just made the meatball cheesy bake and it was so good and easy!! I get so stressed out coming up with meals, I am so thankful I stumbled upon this video.
Second total knee replacement in two months coming two weeks before Christmas. Making food to put in the freezer. Thanks for the ideas. We love Indian food on our naan made into pizza. Tika Marsala, chicken, cheese is probably the most popular.
Loved these recipes and they are so exchangeable. Meaning you can adapt so easily to your own tastes. I’ve used gas and electric. I like the cleaning of a glass top electric over the wells of a gas stove, but I love the instant heat of the gas. I’m using gas now and I understand setting towels on fire. Got to be careful. Love your energy. Wish I had some of it. At 70 I have run out of some of mine lol!!
I just love your humor and outlook, you’re so hilarious!! I too live with ADHD and am really good at burning food just a little 😂😂 I can’t wait to try these easy recipes.

Loved this video! Lots of great quick ideas i hadnt even thought about for those days the kids have sports and we are rushing around. I have a gas stove and I LOVE it. In an area where electricity goes out often, the gas stove has been a lifesaver as you can light it with a bbq lighter and dont need electricity.
Great recipes! Thx! I'm a gas stove girl who is currently stuck with electric. I thought I'd love electric because the cabinets stay cleaner (which IS nice) but there is absolutely zero control over temperatures. So many recipes say "bring to a boil, and then reduce to simmer"...none of that going on with an electric. It takes forever to get the heat down, meaning its easier to just move to another burner, assuming they aren't already in use. Frustrating! Plus, of course, when the power goes out it's bye bye dinner. Gas is where its at.
When I had children at home, I made meals that only took 30 minutes to cook and limited the ingredients to six. I love easy cooking videos! I also ❤ your decluttering videos! I use 5 minutes time frames a lot and sometimes I adjust the time frames as needed. I love your sense of humor!
Excellent meal ideas!! You're not lazy by any means and I can guarantee many out there will agree. I sooo get the ADHD brain🙃 because I fight myself every..single..day with it. That and my forgetfulness every..single..day and increasing. So yes, many of us get it, unfortunately. Just another tip for onions, is peel it, cut in half, and put in freezer for roughly 10-15mins while you're prepping or before you're getting everything out. This is our go to all the time.
I've always had a gas hob (stove top) but an electric oven. Best of both worlds. Never really got on with electric hobs. I love the immediacy of gas, and that you can see and control the flame.
I've only ever had an electric hob once and my partner at the time nearly ended up with a very nasty burn, because those things retain the heat and if you don't have a cover - which mine didn't because it was built-in to the flat I was renting at the time - there are NO visual clues that the stove has been on. I had nightmares after that for ages and swore never again. In fact, I don't think I used the hob again until I moved out about three weeks later! I also had multiple problems with a gas oven - the broiler bit is dangerous! So yeah, gas hob & electric oven is the best.
I have an electric stove. Been using it for 24 yrs and had one when I lived in an apartment so I am use to it. When I lived at home, my parents had a gas stove. Sometimes the pilot light would go out and you had to relight it. Once I came into the house and could smell gas. I knew the pilot was out. Just think if I wasn’t there what could have happened. I am very sensitive to gas smells and can sniff it out. Even outside, I can tell if there’s a gas leak. Love the quick recipes, Cas! Hugs!💜🍁👍
I have an old George Foreman grill. Thing has been a workhorse; think I paid maybe 15 bucks for it on sale 20 years ago. Works great for Panini, grilled vegetables for one, hamburgers, just about anything you can think of and clean up is quick and easy. If you see one of the yard sale don’t pass it up! Also, if you prefer to use a heavy can, make sure you wash the bottom first to make it germ and dirt free 😉
Quick tip on chicken broth. Take the bones from the rotisserie chicken and put them in a foodsafe cotton bag. Tie the bag. Put that in an instant pot. Add water and whatever seasonings you want. The bag makes this SO EASY! It makes great soup, but I also love it for rice, steaming frozen veg etc.
I am electric all the way! I have had an electric stove for over 52 years now! And for the past 28 years, it has been a glass cooktop! I love it! Can’t wait to try some of these recipes! ♥️
I'm definitely going to try some of these, they all look good and love how you use the leftovers. Thanks for keeping it real on the somewhat burnt sandwiches, which I'm sure we've all done lol I definitely prefer a gas stove which I've used most of my life (I'm 60). Thanks for sharing.
I live in ontario too and my grocery stores here the premade chickens like that are $12-$14 and I have a big family so I have to get 2 to have enough for everyone
I noticed they aren’t cheap anymore in Toronto. But Skinnytaste taught me I can buy a raw chicken when on sale, spray it with oil and sprinkle seasoning and put whole thing in air fryer. We call it “Costco” chicken and done in 45 min. Sometimes I just toss one in the air fryer when making dinner so I have lunches for couple days.
I feel you as I’m in the same boat! But I have noticed WalMart rotisserie chickens are $8-$9 for the regular smaller ones and since I’m buying two it hurts a lil less knowing I’m paying $18 vs $25. When Metro has them for $10.99, I’m the crazy lady with 4 in my cart. I deconstruct and freeze for later…when the grocery budget allows.
Induction FTW, it’s fast like gas but waaaay less likely to burn down the house. Only heats up under the pots and pans and cools down immediately, too. Use the timer to turn it off automatically, some even have a pause button.
This is great. I am a grandma coming from the UK to stay with the teenage grandkids whilst parents are away. I am so worried about the cooking (mum is a great cook and I am not). So so helpful.
Had a gas stove for 60 years and loved the heat control and was always confused whenever faced with an electric stove. Moved to our retirement condo and now have an induction stove. Super fast heating, solid stove top , and excellent heat control FOR THE WIN! Love your content and always share with my adult son. TEAM INDUCTION!
Cas, there is another option for the stove… induction! The only real downside is that you need induction compatible cookware. I wasn’t sure how I’d like it, but we bought it during the pandemic when inventory available was so low. It was one of our only options. My husband and I really like it! It heats up fast almost as if you were using gas, but there’s no flame!
Life happens and in 2023 we left our home for a while and I had to leave my induction stove behind. It was super convenient... now I'm fiddling with an electric one. :/ Not happy.
Thanks for a great video! I saved it for later so I can go back when I'm ready to make some of these dishes. I've had both but love cooking on gas and baking on electric. I don't mind the hot mess when cooking up a few meals because you only have to clean up once.

Yes! I don't like gas ovens but I like gas stoves
I LOVE my induction stove!!! Have had it 12 years now & wouldn't go back
@sherrymccain8322@@Caseyd1966 I've never used an induction stove. Sounds interesting. When you take a hot pot off of the stove, is the stove top hot? Would it melt a plastic container or utensil?
That’s so cool!! I’d love to try one those! 😮
@@alyxwampler1713 Thanks for sharing such a succinct overview and your personal tips and insights about using induction. Very helpful!
You can make Tonato soup from Marinara Sauce. Take a jar of sauce and add cream or half n half until creamy. Heat and serve. So tasty. ❤
yum! I'll have to try that!
AND gas is cheaper to run than electric.
The Better Than Bouillon is amazing!
Just used some tonight when boiling pasta. Game changer!!!
I adore Better Than Bouillon
@@CheriJ11 If you go to the website - they have waaaaaay more selection than just chicken, beef and vegetable!
❤ love better than boulliion
I was literally in the process of putting together a list of low effort meals I can make even when adhd+depression is kicking my butt and I don't feel like I can do anything. So this is great! And the energy you bring to your videos always galvanizes me and gets me moving again.
I love to hear that! 😊
Here’s a selection of "effortless" family meals, perfect for quick, nourishing, and easy-to-make dishes:
@@elis_flwow, you must be a good cook!!
@@1millionpumpkins542 I love this!
@lisaa3978 thanks! 🤩
CA's my house looks normalist.I rested and took pain pills but in 7 days I did every room I couldn't have done it without your input. Its unusual to see you as chef CA's ....its fun .
So good!
Here’s another mean idea:
French dip sandwiches!
The French dip sandwiches sound delicious and easy! I'm going to try that. Thank you!
Those sandwiches sound amazing.
I love all your wordy expressions. You had my attention from start to finish. Thank you for sharing these great quick meals.
That sounds like a dream!
Love Clutterbug and Cas!!!! You are SO MUCH FUN!!!!
Good to know!
@@christinal.9309 Whaat?? That’s an amazing tip! Thank you 💐
Have you ever seen The "onion goggles"? $19.99 lol...gimmick!
My favorite soup hack. Is to throw a package of tortellini into any premade soup and boil. I love adding it to my pot pie soup.
OMG! I love your sense of humor and how down to earth you are! I have learned so much from watching your videos this past year!🥰
I’m so glad to hear that!
You’re welcome!
What about the mushrooms in the chile?? Also, try putting peppers on your meatball sandwiches before the cheese. Delish!
That’s why I love aprons! I’m about to make a high-necked one, to wear while eating since I tend to spill on my chest.
@ I’ve been wearing one more of the time lately. I have some patterns to make some cute ones. I’m really growing into my identity as Grandma!
It's really helpful to watch these videos especially when your mom and mother-in-law never helped you or gave you advice EVER.
Thanks! Enjoy a (small) drink on me. Thanks for all the advice, realism, and stories!
Thank you so much! I appreciate it!🩵
My quick soup. Broth (the box or the liquid or whatever and a bag of frozen Asian potstickers. A bit of sesame oil and splash of rice vinegar if desired. Cook until dumplings are heated through and you have a nice easy filling soup in minutes!
I'm going to try this!
This! I love the trader Joe's Ginger Miso broth with the frozen potsticker/dumplings. I spruce it up with condiments too aometimes I'll add veggies. So easy and yum!
That chicken and dumpling soup- oh my, super impressed!
Yay!
This is so much like my invention of cheesy pumpkin dumplings, just sub a can of pumpkin puree instead of milk, and add 1-2 cups shredded cheese to the dry flour part and it's my dumplings I make every Autumn!
@@elisefinder Wow- that sounds amazing!

"Delicious" 😂 the way she said that cracked me up... Love your channel... You helped changed the way I live, forever grateful
Thanks for sharing!
I love my gas stove top, but I have a separate electric oven. It’s the best of both worlds. I love it that way.
Sounds like it!

Love this video! Love love love. Thank you for easy quick meals for someone living alone. Pantry meals? Can freeze the leftovers? Perfect. I follow you for your decluttering vids, but I adore cooking videos too. 🥰
You’re welcome!
I like that idea! Nice that I don't have to think of the 2nd meal right away - thanks for sharing!
Induction cooktops are the best! They heat up quickly and are easy to clean. They are also safer. (Only challenge is to make sure you have induction compatible cookware. It’s worth the cost to switch out your pans.) Love all your cooking ideas!
Safer, unless you or someone you know has a pace maker.
Thanks for sharing!
Naw I prefer gas it can be used in power outtages
Love the recipies!!!! Can't wait to do them!! As for gas vs electric....Gas hands down! Yes, there have been some mishaps here too...but nothing to bad! Thank you for your inspiration that you give us decluttering to cooking and then some 😊
You reminded me of a soup my GRANDMOM used to make she used to make noodle soup

Loved this video! Lots of great quick ideas i hadnt even thought about for those days the kids have sports and we are rushing around. I have a gas stove and I LOVE it. In an area where electricity goes out often, the gas stove has been a lifesaver as you can light it with a bbq lighter and dont need electricity.
Gas stove, all day, every day and twice on Sunday!❤🎉
May I ask what you love about it? I’ve never used gas, but it looks pretty. 🤷♀️😆
Nice!
I like the bullion paste. It stays good a long time after opening too. (keep in fridge)

Oh looks amazing.we need more of these meals.love from uk
Thanks for sharing!
I can’t believe there aren’t more comments about the can. Great hack, but I would definitely wrap it in something like parchment paper or foil.

Thanks! I love that you showed us that you also forget that is on broil😃
ADHD hates having to keep track of time! I use the timer on my cell phone for everything, including broiling. Win!
I am electric all the way! I have had an electric stove for over 52 years now! And for the past 28 years, it has been a glass cooktop! I love it!

@cprk yes when we have whole chickens on sale here I buy a few and cook them all at once and then I pull them apart to have chicken like that on hand
Never clicked a Video this fast 😂 i Just love your personality and Content ❤❤❤ please never Change ❤
I don’t plan to!

Awesome!
Thanks for a great video! I saved it for later so I can go back when I'm ready to make some of these dishes. I've had both but love cooking on gas and baking on electric. I don't mind the hot mess when cooking up a few meals because you only have to clean up once.
Glad you enjoyed it!
