Oh man what a TAS. Thanks for showing the glitch-corrected part for us "plebs" ;) And Freyasspirit did great, really succinct and understandable even for someone like me who isn't too deep into speedrunning/speedruns and the mechanics of/in them.
I've watched quite a few speedruns as many of us here most likely have, and it's understandably super hard to narrate a TAS-run even if you're very knowledgeable about the game and even the specific TAS that's being highlighted, just by the sheer amount of things going on with pixels, sub-pixels, button inputs, frames, that all need to be accounted for, or forcefully disregarded XD. Truly excellent work on all parts, this was on another level thanks to the commentary.
So, have all of the kudos i can give!

@@thepurplemudkip9998 A system is basically being more than one person or identity in a single body. It might be like having multiple distinct internal monologues that might not always agree with each other, it might be like a feeling of riding back seat while someone else drives the body and takes care of a difficult task for you. These different identities might be able to freely communicate with each other and share memories where others will hand you memories as required, or they might be disconnected from each other in which case it would look like amnesia at times (but the "forgotten" memories are held by another identity and return when they are present). These identities might be completely distinct (even fantastical at times) or very similar, but in every case there is a sense of being more than one person to some degree. It's not always obvious to a system that they are a system. You can look up the Plural community to find some more things.
This is pretty pathologised in psychology as DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) and OSDD (Otherwise Specified Dissociative Disorder), and many psychologists still think it doesn't exist or will be really disgusting about it, but it seems to be a fairly normal thing. But there can also be a lot of trauma involved with some systems with some identities holding that trauma so that others can continue to function (psychology became aware of it through this trauma aspect).

Yeah that was my response too, we don't use plural pronouns typically, its just not how our life dynamic fits, but its super cool to see systems being visible and out, even when it can be awkward or unpleasantly received, and interesting to notice certain things that make us wonder if someone is someones, assuming is bad but its always interesting when something rings for us in a way that springs a hunch, we've known it about ourselves for... gods way too many years now, like 5 or 6 now? Not a huge span of time really, but its weird on my sense of personal time, and its really heartening to see the visibility climbing more and more, despite the aforementioned issues becoming more so in equal measure, the cost of being known and seen is that those who aren't kind can also see you I suppose

It takes a bit of adjustment to work out the subject as Samus is she, Sniq and I could be he, we could be FreyasSpirit and I or just FreyasSpirit and so on but I mostly blame English for that, heh. It's not your fault. I'm glad you watched all the same.

I appreciate Freya's pronoun card mentioning they're plural as well! Its always great to see systems getting some visibility and being open despite the issues that can bring, from one plural group to another! *waves*

But now that the painful scrolling through the comments led us here, we can finally stop because... Human brains are weird like that.

@@marufranco5281 This man is clearly unhappy yet he thinks that speedrunning a 30 year old game and cosplaying a woman will make him happy. I think the problem is a lack of a good guiding figure. These people are clearly autistic and rather than give them proper guidance on becoming scientists or writers, they are encouraged to speedrun and cosplay
