Glad to my heroes Rocky and Bullwinkle back on local TV. And I haven't seen them when they were on Vh1 Classic and Boomerang in 2013. The last time show was in syndicated reruns was in 2016; WBBZ-TV, for instance, aired the show in a strip to counterprogram 10 PM newscasts in the Buffalo, New York, market during the summer 2013 season.
It’s good to see that Paul frees voice performances are still being shown on television
This is the best thing to watch!
So they use the DVD master, interesting. I remember this show on Boomerang and they used the master from the Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network airings, with the color restoring being not too great, midway during the Metal Munching Mice arc is definitely noticable.
Tookey dookey?
i never thought i would this iconic show in stereo high quality
that is amazing
30:03 wait when did...how did tha...when...this must be because nbcuniversal owns rocky and bullwinkle right
but why was the 1990 universal logo at the end? i thought the....classicmedia logo...would be seen
I’m glad my state gets this channel…in Twin Cities and rochester
I wonder if they ever credited the witch in Fractured Fairy Tales as “Witch Hazel”
Side note, Rapunzel sounds like Ruby Rabbit.
So MeTV Toons used that DVD master. I saw the show on Boomerang and they used the same ones from the local syndicated reruns, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network airings.
Except there's two things different on these prints on MeTV Toons than on the DVD:
-The prints may be the same, but the R&B watermark was present on the DVDs and the TV prints had none whatsoever.
-Universal Pictures had the rights to Rocky & Bullwinkle, that they had to put in their television logo at the end of the episodes when they had these remastered in 1997, which is present on MeTV Toons, but not on the DVDs.
And another thing - following their rights ownership to DreamWorks Animation and Classic Media in 2016, Universal Pictures got back the rights to Rocky & Bullwinkle while they gave Wildbrain the rights to license it for TV and streaming, especially on MeTV Toons.
I rather had see the Bullwinkle show intro I had known and seen for years with Bullwinkle dancing still find it funny
Why did I see the Universal logo from 1990-1997 at the end?
Cause Rocky and Bullwinkle used to be owned by Universal and so since the show was renamed to The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends internationally episodes were plastered at the end with the Universal logo from 1990 to 1997
@@LooneyFan It should've like used the WildBrain logo at the end.
@WHATTHEJULIE Oh I see.
The same as my dvd sets
Las aventuras de Rocky y bullwinkle y amigos, este canal metv toons debería tener SAP en español latino para la gente latinoamerica que vive en EEUU para ver los clásicos de animación

Don’t forget Paul Frees voicing, roughly 1/3 of the characters
@@Nick-ty9us Absolutely, or Daws Butler, EE Horton, Hans Conried, Hal Smith or Walter Tetley.
@@RusstheTroubadourYou forgot Charlie Ruggles and Hans Conried.
