I had the dealer put cruise control on my 20 Street Bob. I love it. I live in Philly on Rt 1 and the road has speed cameras which get you for $100 a violation. Saves me tons of money. Also a god-send for your right wrist on long stretches.
I just did this on a 2022 Low Rider S. Wasn't too difficult, but getting that stupid rubber stopper that closes the hole up under the tank back in was a pain.
To make your hand comfortable on the handlebar you need to upgrade to an fully adjustable forks suspension. Once you can dial in the compressions and rebound the bike will be so much more forgiving on uneven roads ( it will be more safer) plus will give you smooth and comfortable ride. I completely think cruise control is very good to have.
@@WeRide2 I appreciate the fact it’s costly. I only want say that when you spend on suspension spend it on fully adjusted good brand . I did Ohlins and you wouldn’t believe until you do such an upgrade the bike will perform heaps better than stock. Hence I say all those cam upgrades of performance upgrades should be last in the list.
i think the real irritating issue is after buying the CC from harley and installing myself....they want $50 more to enable it....FU. il buy a PV4 n have it enabled..
Just scored the kit locally and when asked at the counter how much time they will need to flash the ECM, he said '30 minutes" and they would charge me for it... Bleh.. Will have to try another local dealer or a chat with a different service advisor.
This bike is so fun to ride. The cruise control makes it even better. 👌👍😊
It's a blast! Cruise control makes it a more complete bike. Now its trip worthy LOL

One of the best things I've done to mine so far. So easy to get carried away on this bike on the highway LOL. Stay safe!

Awesome! I need to get cruise control fitted on my Street Bob. Probably some time in June or July when the weather is a little warmer. 👍
You'll love it. Worth every penny
Can't wait to get this ordered for my 19 Street Bob here in a couple weeks. Will be nice for when my throttle hand goes to sleep lol
Game changer on the Street Bob. You'll love it.
Got my cruise control on way for my bob also. Can't wait! Should stop the cops from trying to pull me over 😅
LMAO! I dunno.....The cruise control can be set to as high as 90 MPH.... Just saying! Stay safe out there!

Suspension is on the list....Stay tuned
@@WeRide2 if possible go for the inverted forks.
I would love to.... Not the cheapest thing but we'll see.
@@WeRide2 I understand.

Just bought mine. Considering doing it myself but those wires is kinda scary.
It's not that bad, just take your time.
Just bought one today because dealer had it in stock. 288 after taxes.
Yep, you know how it is... Gotta pay to play
@@WeRide2 you should do a video on depinning the wires as well, lol. Purely for selfish reasons
LMAO! Depinning is the bane of my existence... If you want to learn new curse words that would be the video to watch

They are masters of the nickel and dime technique. You're right about that.

What?! The time I can understand depending on their work load.... Good find another, maybe even try a non dealership
I need to know where you got your risers, clutch levers and bars asap. Pleaseeeeee

After you install it does the check engine light stay on while riding until you have the computer flashed at the dealer?
It'll pass on it's own if you leave it long enough I believe.
Thanks
I have to know what Harley charged you to flash the ecm
I believe they charge a $50 fee, might be different from dealer to dealer.
how much to get it flashed ?
The going rate is around $50 but each dealership is different
@@WeRide2 ok thanks for getting back to me , that gives me a rough estimate of how much i’ll expect to pay ..
