This day was perfect in every way possible: the weather, the views, places we visited, the food. The highlight of the day was Vila Praya do Ancora and the boat ride from Portugal to Spain.

What a fantastic adventure for your boys. I agree with you that they are truly heroes for their attitudes and behavior. I am surprised that you haven't had more interaction with other pilgrims on the route. I would certainly have enjoyed visiting with you while walking.

I am thoroughly enjoying watching you and your boys walk the Camino Portugues, Irina! I watched your Norte and Primitivo Camino's but this one is so special since you have your boys with you. I wish I could have walked with my son. I really like how you engage them with things like the daily intentions, so that they think more deeply about the Camino than just walking a lot of kilometers. They have such a great attitude and spirits, it is easy to see the great job you have done. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the adventure when you reach Santiago. Bom Caminho!

Another wonderful day, walking! When you were going through the forest in the morning, were there any wild animals to see besides the birds? Were you or the boys able to identify any of the birds?
No wild animals and no, we didn't really identify the birds. The kids were busy talking to each other :) I was busy enjoying the sounds of the nature:)
When my daughter was young and we walked in nature, we usually carried a little pocket magnifier and binoculars. They gave her even more of the world to explore.@@beyondirinasfootsteps

They got their energy from each other, the companion, playing together, talking with each other, enjoying every moment with each other. So beautiful ..
