My name is Michelle Dittrich and I'm a makeup artist. I've done makeup on a lot of celebrities: Pam Anderson, Kanye West, Lenny Kravitz, Cynthia Nixon. There's a big misconception that I could never do that look on the runway, and you absolutely can. Everybody can, and you'll play to your best attributes and I can show you how to do that. So now we are going to talk a little bit about finishing a wedding makeup look. We just did waterproof liquid liner on top of her day look. We also did a little bit of a nude liner underneath her eye, on the inside. Now we're just going to go right into getting a perfect brow in pictures, for weddings or wherever. So first, we're going to use a little brow brush. I like to really brush the brows upall entirely. She has beautiful brows, but I still want them to frame the eyes in photos, even a little bit more. So one mistake that people make when filling in their brows is using a color dissimilar from their actual brow color. Even something that has too much red tone in it on even a redhead can look strange, because of how it attaches to the skin. So I've picked kind of an ashy blonde color. I don't really want to give her a lot more fullness to her brow, I just want to have them be a little bit more defined for photos. So we brushed up the brows. Now we're going to use small strokes, similar to the length of the hair, just to fill a little bit more. And because it's for ashy blondes, you get this really pretty full finish, but without any unnatural look. And we're going to finish with a clear brow gel just to hold them in place. So we'll do her other brow. Once again, the small strokes similar to the length of your hair on your brow. And you know if you need to extend your brow, if you need to pull your brow in so it's even, that's cool. The best thing to do is to grow in your brows a little bit. But if you can't, just make sure you're not using a color that will show up as red or funny on your skin because you want to keep the brows looking natural but defined. And finish with the brow gel. That's a well-defined brow, great for pictures in particular. You want to give that pretty eye frame to your face, and small strokes with a very natural, even sometimes lighter color than your natural brow. Brush them up, fill them in, and finish with a clear brow gel to hold them in place. And that will give you a perfect brow in pictures every time.
