Their back! Here are the new Tamagatchi from Ban Dai . They are the same great toy with the original programming. You will see and here some minor updates and probably more modern components inside, but the overall feel and look are very much the same. I had a Gen 1 and Gen 2 and wanted to make sure I want through all of the initial steps to get my pets to hatch. Then I went through all of the different sections, so you could get some ideas on what is happening on the screens. They were one of the first digital pets and kids had to have them when they came out! I know I barely touched the surface on keeping them happy & growing up, so maybe one day I will show them again after they grow up!

I loved playing with my digital pet when I was a kid. Unfortunately school time and chores would always kill it.
Because Tamagotchi is banned from school and it the distraction.

I hide it in my pocket at school and mute it
But pausing them screws up their evolution times.
the tamagotchi is a very cute device. i have my own gen 1 and it’s been real fun. i like that they’ve almost-perfectly emulated how hard it is to take care of a real pet. the cute little characters you can get depending on the quality of care are also pretty cool!

Back? They never left. Those are just re-releases. Tamagotchi has had steady versions almost every year for years. There are almost over 100 versions by now (check the Tamagotchi Wikia). I just find it interesting that people who "missed" them somehow sleeped on their previous US releases... I guess it's only nostalgia that matters? They are in color in Japan as well.

I actually own a coloured tamagotchi from japan, it's in japanese, bur it's pretty easy to understand. (The only downside is that it's eating batteries like crazy)
I got one for my 5 year old for Christmas she really wanted it once she had it it was just put aside forgotten it was not cheap! So here i am Mid thirties hardworking guy raising another little monster

I grew up in the 90s as a kid and I remember having an awesome black fret and white colored tomagotchi and it was awesome till it died. Soo I decided to buy a gen2 just for nostalgia reasons. It was only 20 bucks so I said why not. I saw the crappy small anniversary edition at GameStop but they were small and xruddy w junk packaging. So I’m looking forward to my galaxy gen 2 tomagotchi. I’m not into buying the sparkly 60 dollar one but I’m happy to see them coming back.
I still have my old one! It's the one that can do infrared communication with other Tamagotchis. My BFF gave it to me as a Christmas gift. ❤️

I got the leopard print Tamagotchi for my younger female cousin as a Christmas present in 2018. She loved it! I was so happy!

Maybe you have your clock set on AM hours when it’s PM, if it’s not that there is another solution. I wouldn’t recommend This solution unless you’re not very attached to your tamagotchi, the method being to press the reset button on the back of the device.
I always wondered how those things worked so thanks for that!

@@achilledanieleruggia3191 well I have both and I think gen 2 is better because it is a little easier especially the game on gen 2 because the gen 1 game of left or right is pretty difficult

It means to discipline them. Like if your tamagotchi is hungry and won’t eat, you discipline it. If it’s unhappy but won’t play you discipline it.
