- Sooo excited to show you guys my tamagotchi collection! (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑ This is only part of my collection - keen to do an updated collection video when I have the rest of my tamagotchis with me, also when I receive some new ones I had recently purchased! (๑⚈ ․̫ ⚈๑) I'm by no means a professional collector - I mainly collect specific shells and models I like only (Although I must say my wishlist keeps growing). Thanks for pulling me into the Tamagotchi world!!! I knew about them back in the days but never have a chance to play one, until your Sanrio Meets stories really caught my attention cuz I grew up with Sanrio. I am so glad I got my Sanrio Meets, can’t wait for our bbs to get married🥴🧡

@@TheForestMori I wish all Tamagotchis came in the packaging like in your video :( I don't like the US versions, it's better when they are like yours. I know that's like the Japanease/Asian packing, right?
@@vision821k4 Yes most pieces from my collection are Japanese versions. And I love the Japanese packaging a lot because they're very small and very cute! I think the only thing that stopped me from getting the English Tamagotchi Ons were their massive boxes 😅
I feel like I got my stoicism from having had a Tamagotchi as a child-patience, responsibility, and the acceptance of death, all things that a Tamagotchi taught anyone that had it. Who needs a necklace, a card, a tattoo, a calendar, or a gold coin, when you can have a Tamagotchi as a memento mori. Yes, this is good. I need to get one again.

It’s really cool to see the tamagotchi collection community still very much alive! I remember watching these type of videos circa 2012-2015 so its super nice to see them pop up again.
The community has definitely grown a lot in the last two years due to covid!! Plus all the new releases really pulled a lot of people back into the hobby ☺️

my first tamagotchi, i picked out from a christmas donation place when i was around 8. i was so excited I wrapped it up myself and waited until christmas to open it lol still one of my favorite childhood games.

I've been wanting a tamagotchi since I was a kid (I used to borrow my older sisters) and I just bought the pix and I cannot wait for it to come in the mail🤗
Amazing! Now is a great time to invest in a Pix - usually when Tamagotchi models go out of production the prices for them sky-rocket and you won't be able to buy them at RRP anymore!

Your collection is so cool! Ive just started collecting tamas again and I only have 5 so far! Currently running the 2005 entama but I really want the v4 and v5 (for the nostalgia hehe) and the sanrio mix!

The Sanrio Mix is really cute but gameplay and content wise, I'd recommend the Sanrio Meets! Much more affordable and can connect to the app!!

@@Furby_nerd1620She probably does not run them all at once, as you can just…. Not put batteries in them. In the video all of them are out of battery too.
Thanks for sharing your cool collection! :) I was sad to recently learn that the tamagotchi store in Japan was shut down. I was going to visit one day when I finally got to go to Japan. A lot of the tamagotchis are so hard to get a hold of these days
I'm impulse buying a lot lately and bought the nano hello kitty tama, but you make me just really wanna get the sanrio mix! Lord, that one is beautiful 😫💗 loved your collection 💞💞
The Sanrio Mix / Meets are AMAZING! I'm personally not a fan of the nanos because the content is very limiting. You should really look into the Meets, since they're still in currently in production they're easier to get and can be much cheaper than the Mix :)

Yay! I love finding other tamagotchi fans :) I think I actually found your art through tamagotchi a few years ago when you had a kuchipatchi inspired drawing or maybe clay piece. It's nice to see part of your collection, thanks for the awesome video! I also asked for tamagotchis for my gifts as a kid, and I remember getting the V4 around easter one year. That same holiday I went into a toy shop and saw some old V3s that were like $10 or something and I begged my parents for one but they understandably said no as they had just given me the V4. Fast forward to last month when I finally bought a V3 and I don't want to say how much it was lol.
AWWW thank you!!!! I've totallllly been there. I remember buying a V3 at Target for $30 when I was little and last month I paid triple for one?! Some shell designs are worth it though 🥲

@@svdnxey i recently got the zenitsu one too. one of mine evolved into Kyojuro and 2 other ones into zenitsu mostly from playing the gourd mini game

I used to have one of every generation released in the US, but most of them had corroded batteries in them when I found them years later 😔😔 I still have my Gen 4 and 4.5 ones though!

Ahh it’s my childhood When I was 7-8 I got my first one and I still used it when I was 11, I just called mine paka. Even now I still collect them and i currently use my tamagotchi on even after a year of its release!

I have the Keroppi pet as well (same shell and everything) and my packaging is SUPER yellow but the device is also in pristine collection 😅
I’m currently waiting on some digimon pets to come in, my most recent addition is the Hello Kitty nano and I’m going to run my 4u (I actually quite like them esp for the potty training feature 😂) next with some custom content 💕

I never had any og tamagotchis as a child, but I got those knock off ones and even back then I knew it was everything I wanted lol. Fast forward to when I was in uni and I stumbled about a post on reddit about tamagotchis and of course I thought that I'm an adult now! and I can buy one for myself! My first actual original (!!!) tama is the tamagotchi meets and I was so surprised and delighted to see that they were in color now haha. I hope I get to try the older gen tamas soon, they're super cute!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your love for tamagotchi. I absolutely have been missing out. I had no clue that they had all these still.. Past 4-5 years I been playing tamagotchi on my iPhone app. It’s so fun, Free but you have option to pay cheap monthly subscription for extra features.

I love seeing v-pet collection videos! I'm more into digimon V-pets but I've definitely gotten afew tamagotchi along the way. I'll never get away from all the beeps and boops lol.
What do you think about all the newer tamagotchi nanos we are getting in Australia? My favourite has got to be the Gudetama one. Most of them are straight imports from japan like the demonslayer tamas but im glad to finally see more tama in stores again.
I'm from india and here most people would call me crazy if I paid such a large amount for something so small and something no one knows or cares about but I am a huuugee tamagotchi fan and am amazed by your collection

Congrats on your first tamagotchi! I am personally not a big fan of the Gen 1 and 2 original tamagotchis because I find them to be quite dull in terms of game play. The sprinkle shell design is adorable though and defs worth collecting!!

There's a "tamagotchi" thats called punirune which is basically like tamagotchis except theres a hole on the side so you can pet your "tamagotchi" but there isnt an english version, just japanese

WOW nostalgia overload. This is such a mood ^^, Norwegian here. I was born in 87 and I guess we had the first wave? when I got mine. There was a huge fad in our school with Tamagotchi. They eventually got banned in our school along with POG, GOGO`s and other stuff. I only had one but this was such a fun video to watch. I am not sure if I remember correctly but I had a red one that started out as a egg and ended up as a medium sized dinosaur fella.

The tamagotchi p’s is not the only tamagotchi x Disney collab! The tamagotchi nano for Easter came out partnered with Disney Tokyo! They go for crazy monecy nowadays😅

You should buy those crochet cases for your tamagotchis, I feel like they keep mine well protected, I feel like I can’t have any of my tamagotchis go without one. I want to buy every color version! I’m only missing Plus and 4u+ (I don’t think I want the regular 4u but they’re easier to find). I wish I could show you my collection! Just don’t know how.

I would totally recommend getting a Plus. It’s easily my favourite color tamagotchi. It’s super chunky and the screen is curvy!!

In 2017, Disney and Tamagochi made a Easter Tamagochi, They also did it for 2018 or 2019. So you are wrong, There are 3 Disney Tamagochi collabes.
We had the original 6 when I was a kid. I had the purple/pink one to start and my mom and step dad called Toy R Us daily until they were able to get the translucent blue one and complete the collection. They were so much fun! My moms tamagotchi always had duck lips I remember. 😂

I’ve still got my original tamagotchis from 2003 and 2004 and I’m waiting for some new batteries to arrive to wake them up! I woke one of them up with a new battery a few years ago and I loved it but the battery died. I’ve also got a remade gen 2 off Amazon.
But I remember I also had the amazing DS game where you would build a tama town and be a dentist and a car mechanic. I remember being so obsessed with that game!
I still have that game!! There were three games made in total and they’re all super fun 🥹💖💖

@@kwllwn6434 There are really nice facebook groups or discord servers for trading tamagotchis! :) Sometimes, there are also good deals on ebay.

I also really liked Tamagotchi games from nintendo NDS/3DS, where you get to help out in their adorable shops, if you like the Tamagotchi universe too they are super cute to play!
I LOVE the NDS games too!!!!!! The sound effects on those games are so funny I love it. You should totally get a meets! The English version is called Tamagotchi On ☺️

Nice! The music star is super fun! Tamagotchi Smart is a nice one to start with - usually once these models go out of production they go for very high prices! Now is a good time to invest in the Smart watches :)

I was actually almost regretting not putting that money into getting a tama meets (bc I really love the genetics feature???) since theyre more expensive now. But i guess they'll alwyas be expensive and the smart will only be this price for so long :> so the tama meets can wait

@@TheForestMori after some quite long deliberation i actually did purchase one just last night AHHDGAUSIGD i was afraid it would go out of stock!! TT i got the fairy meets (yellow) because the fairy meets is the cheapest series, yellow being my favorite color, and I really like the tamas that are available on it. You really inspired me to bring my childhood dream back to life
@@yazhuen The yellow one is lovely! I don't have that one yet. This is a great time to get a Meets actually! Bandai just announced they will be removing the Tamagotchi On app in August - which is the app compatible with the Meets & On. So make sure you enjoy the app while you still can!! It's one of the best things about the Meets!!
I miss the connection versions their the ones I grew up on. I wish they would bring back those like they did with the original 90s ones and digimons.

I have the pastel pink one, but it is now discolored for the most part. I still love it though 💖
Edit: also, the 4U is meant for people on the go. This made me love it because it is a low maintenance tamagotchi. The content available without downloads is limited, but I was lucky to get a device and took advantage of the app made by the community. I’d still give it a go whenever you can’t run anything else.
I’ve run the 4U and 4U+ a few times now and love it! Just bought the dark pink one and waiting for it to come through the mail 🥹💕
